Hey everyone, I think rotating mass is important, so I thought I'd post the information I have. Feel free to add info if you have it.

    Stock TRD Pro Wheel (2015 - 2018): 31.0 lb
Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/65R18 XL: 44.6 lb (claimed 45.04 lb)
Icon Alloys Vector 5: 28.4 lb
    BFG KO2 34x10.5R17 D Rated: 54.8 lb (claimed 56 lb)

    Wow, thanks!

Overall 4 lbs weight increase trade off for additional 2" diameter. Not bad at all.

EDIT: Messed up my calcs there. it's almost 8 lbs per wheel/tire combo.

Do you consider it low, high or normal weight increase for 2" additional in diameter?

The tires I was considering are as follows:

    BFG KO2 34x10.5R17 D Rated: 54.8 lb - 33.5" OD
    BFG KO2 285/75R17 E Rated: 61 lb - 33.9" OD
    BFG KO2 285/70R17 E Rated: 58 lb - 32.7" OD

I think the weight increase for the additional OD is low, considering the other options.

Wheel weight is not as important compared to tire weight. Tire weight is more important because most of the weight is farther away from the hub compared to the wheel. And your also affecting the overall gear ratio which will lose low end torque. Reducing the weight of any giving rotational Mass will have an affect but how great is that affect. Could you feel it? Maybe, some people even shave down their rotors to lose weight but in reality you won't feel a thing it way to close to the hub. now let's say you went from a 20x10 wheel with LT tires to 20x9 wheel p rated tires losing 10lb per corner hell yeah you feel it in acceleration, stopping power and going over bumps it will rebound better... 4lbs extra per corner most of the weight is the tire, plus going up 2" everybody feels different but I would definitely feel the extra drag. Now going down on weight and increasing size will be better like going LT tire to p rated 33". But really nothing can beat the overall gear ratio, the only way to changed it is to reagear to 5.29...

I'm just glad that the truck isn't noticeably affected by the larger tire. I know a lot of people that have gotten bigger tires and immediately regret it or feel like they need to re-gear. I feel like I hit a sweet spot where I got a larger OD without a big penalty to drivability...
