    Hey Guys

I recently installed Toytec 3" front coilovers lift an a 1.5" shackle lift for the rear. The back is still a little low for my liking. I may throw a 1" block back there just to give it a little boost . Wondering if anyone has run Into any issues with needing to relocate the brake lines to give them more room to stretch at roughly 2.5" of rear lift?

It really depends on what your limiting factor is for rear axle down travel. In most cases it's the rear shocks. You can test this by setting the rear of the frame on jack stands and letting the rear end down to fully droop (slowly) and see if your brake and ABS lines are getting taught. If the limiting factor is your shocks, then adding more lift doesn't change the shock full extended length, brake lines will still be fine. In my case the Icon RXT shocks have an offset lower eyelet and longer shaft for more suspension travel, at full droop it would pull the rubber brake lines and stretch them out! Added 2" extended lines from Toytec and OME extension brackets for brake and ABS lines. I need to droop it again to confirm how much margin I have now but should be much better, and stainless braided lines as an added upgrade.

Maybe others can confirm but I think most off the shelf shocks for our trucks aren't long enough to require extended brake lines.

Okay, well with that in mind I did replace the rear shocks with the Toytec Boss W/Res which I believe have a few more inches travel then stock.. so you replaced the lines themselves as opposed to some of these bracket kits I see? Probably a better route.

Toytec has the brackets. They do not look tacky at all. I am lifted 2 inches in the rear. I can take pics of mine if you want to see them. How do you like the ride with the new setup compared to stock? Did you do the carrier bearing drop kit as well?

A picture would be great. It rides nice. I will say when I first got it on with stock tires it was like wow this rides smooth. But after the 10plys went on it stiffened up a bit over bumps. To be expected. But I'm still quite happy. I have not done the carrier drop. But I did pick one up just in case I get a vibration.

Nice. I will be removing a Readylift 3/2 spacer kit and going to the Toytec Boss kit. I already have 10 ply.....285/70 Ridge Grapplers. I doubt the new setup would be any tougher than the spacers. How is the rear with the resis? Those things look nice. I'll get you pics of the brackets shortly.

Yeah honestly I've had 2 other trucks in my life. A 07 Silverado an a 10 Tacoma. Both I had spacer lifts on. I'm not anti spacer lift like most folks. They served my purpose fine. But this time I wanted to spend some coin an splurge a bit.. I have no regrets. It rides real nice. The only thing that makes it a little stiff is the tire..But it really soaks up the bumps like nothing now. It's a big investment ( atleast for me) but I think you won't be disappointed.

Hey guys, I just had a 7" BDS lift installed and I'm new to lifting trucks and didn't realize I would need extended brake lines. I just purchased some custom made steel braided extended brake lines that are 5" longer than stock. Now I am realizing I should also be extending the ABS lines. I have been searching online trying to find some and have had zero luck. Do you guys know where I could find some???

The ABS lines did not end up needing to be extended.
