Check the build link in my signature.
When I first put GY Duratracs on my 2008, I would get a rub only at full lock making a right-hand turn. The thin aluminum TRD “skid plate” was the culprit and all I did was smack it with a hammer to bend it a little farther up and it was all fixed. I looked at the opposite side, and it was already bent on that side (maybe the guys at the tire shop had done it and didn’t get the drivers side enough?).

That worked until I went to 305’s (I think they were 305/65R18s), at which time the shop that put those on had to actually trim that skid plate.

Purchased from Amazon the brand was MostPlus. Identical to 1Aauto and Boost Auto but at 1/3 of the price. Only time will tell how they hold up. So far I am pleased.

I purchased from Amazon. The brand was MostPlus. See if the link below works. I have a 2020 and they fit and worked no problem despite stating 2017 was the end year for compatibility. They have been on for little over a week and I am still pleased with them. They are manual fold which does not bother me. I park outside at the house anyway. The top mirror is large. The glass has a minor shake/vibration at 70mph but nothing bad my opinion, still very usable. The bottom mirror (blindspot) is adjustable horizontally. I could probably live happily with just the bottom mirror for day to day driving. I gained many features I did not have with the stock mirror on my SR5 package and all was plug n play. The only exception is the reverse/spot light. I have to pull those into the cab. Very easy to do and there are many videos to watch beforehand. I have not hooked up the wiring for the reverse/spot light yet, but hope to this week. I had to locate and order some T-taps.
The only thing that I did not like at 1st notice was that the 2 mirrors are not at the same angle. However, after a quick google search about the matter, it appears that this is a normal thing with tow mirrors. Designed at different angles to allow the user to see out of them, since the driver is not in the middle of truck it makes the angle different. It does not bother me now that it is suppose to be "normal". I will look at some other vehicles in parking lots soon to see if theirs are similar. Anyways I hope this helps out some.

It is not a normal 12v socket. It is threaded to keep from vibrating loose.

Cleaned the underside. One benefit of not living in the salt belt. Believe it or not, this truck is almost 3 years old, 72,000 miles and gets driven on construction sites daily; through mud, ditches, dirt & dust etc.

:eek2: That looks amazing! I doubt mine will look that good in another couple years. Wyoming doesn't use much salt, but Utah does. Mag water on the dirt roads is rough too.

Just a bucket with water, dollar store car wash soap and a few old rags. I have a bottle with cheap ceramic spray that I sprayed on afterwards, just to see how it works.

Can you provide a link to where you got the mirrors? My old Titan had that style, and I think they are the only thing I miss on the new Tundra.

Nothing crazy but....took the TRD Sport stickers off the back of the truck, added a 13 inch shorty antennae, TRD cup holder inserts and added a leather steering wheel cover.

About 2 months. 2 guys at work have them, and they've spoken so highly of them I figured it was a good investment. Also, Diamondback has a good American company story, Penn State guys who saw a problem and designed a solution. I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival.

Winner winner. Got a little muddy this morning, so when I got home I crawled under the truck and was able to see a small rub spot (less than a dime size) on the skid plate. Grabbed the handy ole channel locks and persuaded the skid plate inward. No more obnoxious and embarrassing rub noise.

    Thanks gents :hattip:

Only driven about 20 miles with them installed, but really happy with the result.
