Does anyone know what these are called and if they are hard to replace? ~Pic attached~
The one on the driver side makes a loud popping noise every time I open the door. I think it’s cracked or something.
    Thank you in advance!

I think that is called a door check. Make sure but this is what I think it is...OOPS I looked it up for a 5.7 than saw you have the other engine. Shouldn't make a difference but call @Roman at Sparks and make sure.

@Roman doesn't work for Sparks, he works for Toyota of Cool Springs.
Unfortunately their online store isn't taking orders right now.

Although I do think you have the right part.
    It is cheaper here..

@skphillips78 you could try messaging @Roman and see if that is the correct part.
Not sure if he is responding to messages or not..

Try tightening up the studs on door and body. Think 10mm socket. Sometimes they loosen and create that popping noise.

I had that happen on my Camry. I loosened the bold and slightly moved the latch and re tightened and the popping went away

    That's called a "doorcheck".

Yes they break. Ive replaced both on both of my Tundra's. The right side of the door check where the pin goes through should not have a crack in it. The popping can also be from the inside. Basically it pulls on a plastic tab against a metal plate. That tab can easily wear out. There some video's online of removing the door panel. I was able to reach in without removing anything else. It takes a little work but less time consuming. Total project was about 15 minutes.
