Was going to go for a Platinum trim, but I'm liking either Army Green or Calvary Blue, which doesn't come in Platinum trim. Hence, I'm looking at the TRD Sport trim and adding Katzkins.

    Two questions:

    1. How hard is Army Green to keep clean? (I refuse to buy a Black truck)

    2. For those of you that previous had sunroofs and bought a Tundra without it, do you miss it?

Can't speak about the Army green color (do not have one) but has to be easier than black. Had a new 07 Limited w/sunroof and hardly used it. My new 2020 Limited does not have one and have not given it a second thought. Save $850.

I missed it when it wasn't a feature on one of my older cars. On the Tundra, the sunroof + rear window (I realize not all the trim levels have the same feature) really opens up the truck.

Its risky and has some drawbacks, but someone just started a thread where they installed an aftermarket panoramic sun roof. This could be an option to investigate if you really need a sunroof. Personally I would get a model with the OEM preinstalled sunroof.

As far as color, nothing is as bad as black to keep clean IMO. I don't have an AG Tundra, but I've owned several blue and earth tone vehicles and they weren't too bad to maintain. It really depends on the climate and environment you live in. Certain car care products seem to minimize dirt residue as well, at least make it easier to remove.

    Good luck with your purchase.

I have black Tundra and I would think army green is easier to keep clean. But not as easy as color like silver

If you had a sunroof before and used it all the time, I think you will miss it. I personally don't use mine much because it's too hot here in Texas but I do love to open it up and roll down back window on nice cool days.

IMG_20190104_121208_burst_01.jpg I could only speak of my Old' faithful Suspension lifted 4Runner that the sunroof was a must add-on.. Loved it and hope my next truck will have one too....Great for slight fresh air draft, granted.. Yes!! Back in 87 Gen1 4R had the rear electric window so having that ajar was helping that cigar smoke out of there... If you like one, go for it!!!... Some like it, some don't... The power of choices... Good luck..
Pic of old Grey... Note, pop up opened!
