    - Bull Bar - LED Bunny Burners - AMP retractable running boards - Headlight leveling retrofit - P3 Brake Controller - 60% rear seat delete - relocation of Sub to rear wall - Bilstein 5100 x4, top setting with 2 shims per side - Coach builder +2 rear shackles w/carrier bearing drop - Firestone Air bags - on-board compressor with auto-leveling - Dual Undercover Swing Boxes. - P285/65/R20 (34.6") BFG TA KO2's - TRD Front skid plate - Pop & Lock Tailgate lock - Remote Tailgate mod - LED Headlights - Nav Bypass - iPhone integration - Serius/XM retrofit - 25% front tint - Bizon electric tonneau cover - Power folding tow mirror upgrade - 2010+ leveling Headlight mod - Auto-fold mirror mod. - one-touch lane changer mod - Flash to open garage opener mod - Rigid H/L fog light upgrade - Pushbutton / Remote start mod.
"best" for what budget? IMO the best bang for your buck would be Bilstein 5100s on the front (top setting), and CoachBuilder +2 shackles on the back. That will get you at about the stance you're looking for without negatively impacting the ride quality.

Learn from our mistakes, and skip the whole spacer-lift phase.

    Agreed.

I'm new to the lift world but after tons of research I went with a suspension kit rather than the spacer leveling kit. It's a bit more costly but I didn't want to spend more money down the road getting what I really wanted. Bob made a good suggestion. With the 5100s. I went with the Toytec Boss setup with 3in in the front and shackles in the back. It's a little bit splashier ride but gives me the minimal off roading I do plenty to work with.

Like Bob said, skip the spacers and get the suspension lift

    Welcome...

I went the 5100 route on the front and am very happy. Leveled things out, improved the ride, and saved money for other upgrades. My use is 90% street and the other 10% is mellow dirt roads - so definitely not the hardcore option.

I've always slapped on set of 24's lol .. now I wanna just make my truck look like a beast but somewhat family friendly so I don't hear it from wifey " I can't get in this truck blah blah blah it's too high " lol.. thanks again

You're in the exact same boat as the rest of us. We want what we want but don't want to hear about it!! I'm on my first lift too and to look at my beast now I wonder how I never did it before.

I been thinking just some 5100s up front so I level it out a hair and just have a better ride. But I like the idea of a set that comes with springs so I can just slap em right on.

On a side note. IF....I did just do 5100s up front. What's the biggest tire I could do with no issues. I have the TSS wheels so I'm currently running 285/55 20

This thread should give you an idea. It depends on the height you set the 5100's at and what you mean by issues. Most are removing mudflaps at least, some moving of splash shields, and many are also doing cab mount chops, which I would guess you wouldn't want. I am not sure what offset/rim width is on the TSS wheels, but I know several here have/had them.

    Probably this:
    2.5" or less lift.

    • 20″ rims: 285/60 R20 – 4/10ths wider and 1.5 inches taller than factory.

I feel like the TSS wheels have to have some offset. Being that the tires, factory, are wider than the other 20" option out there (limited? I guess). I guess my biggest driving factor is I would like to raise the front a little but don't want my stock tires to look puney

    The TSS wheels/tire is 32.3"
If you upgrade to the size above it is a 33.5" tire.

Most on here are running 34.3" inch tire on a 18 in rim (295/70R18) with a 2.5-3" lift. I think if your lift is around 2.5" or less, it will look fine with the 33.5".

@TTU19 did you lift yours yet?

Yes I had one too. They were faster than the big wheeler, until everyone started to pull the seat off and leg it like a skate board. Hahaha. Those were the fun days

Screw that.....that's why we buy our sons and nephews toys...so we can play with them!!

Case in point...hover boards are so much fun...but things took an even better turn when I decided to implement a ramp for the hover board. My sister wouldn't even let her kids try it!

Had to buy my nephew a new one and an ace bandage for my sprained ankle.

Guess those weight limits only go so far.
