The mirror control buttons on my dash aren't lit. Those might be the only buttons not lit. Are they supposed to be lit?

Nope, not on Toyota pickups. Even Prius has mirror buttons lit. It sucks that trucks don't. Does not really bother me as I am only driver. My beef on Tundra is dash lighting. Gauges are hard to read in certain conditions like with sunglasses on. No problems on my Tacomas because dash lights were always on. On Tacoma the 4x4 switch is not lit. People on the Tacoma forum were swapping them out for ones that are lit. Not sure why Toyota does not just back light all switches.

I’m glad it’s not lit. One less thing to malfunction.
