    Greetings,
I was looking at my next scheduled maintenance (30K) on my 2019 tundra. It mentions lubrication of the propeller shafts. My truck does not have zerks like the older model did. How would you lubricate the U joints? I think they are pulling my leg for $.
    Regards,
    bc

    Tastefully enhanced...
This is something you can do without greasing anything...crawl underneath and check if there is any loose-feeling bearing movements around the carrier bearings...if there is, I'd bring it in for their decision, if not, ask them not to "worry" about them...nonetheless, you should have and be under warranty to address any issues, including the scheduled maintenance...it's speculative at their discretion...

Don't worry they probably wouldn't grease it even if you did have zerks. I had them explain to me what the 30k maintenance entailed and was told it's just a oil change and new air filters for $200+. Never again.

I just crawled under the back of my 2017 DC Limited.... no zerks on the main driveshaft at all the U-joints are sealed at the differential and at the Cardin. Even the Cardin joint appears to not have a zerk, and I had a good look at it.

update: I did find zerks at both ends of the front axle driveshaft. They are a pain to get to, but it’s doable if you are patient.

My 2020 tundra crewmax 4x4 mentions librication of the propeller shaft. How there are no zerks. Is the entire drive shaft sealed ?
