I like the stock Rigid fogs on the Pro but they could be better. looks liked there are only two diodes where there could be a lot more. Has anyone swapped out other Rigid SAE/DOT fogs for the ones that come stock on the Pro? I'd think it would be easy and painless but I haven't popped off the liner to see what is going on with the mounting bracket and harness.

Stock LED fogs aren’t that good either. You want some good fogs get some diode dynamics, or Baja design

Hence the reason for this thread. There are lots of better options out there. Toyota slapped these fogs in so they could use the Rigid name to help sell a few trucks.

Any input on what mounting brackets or harnesses are used with the stock Rigids?

Not sure to be honest. I’m pretty sure the harness is the stock one and then probably come with some adapter that connects to the rigors.

I went with SS3s in yellow. Light output was increased but I could never get them level. Toyotas OEM mounting bezel for the round fogs is terrible, its always loose and needs to be secured with zip ties. Ended up being a ton of work. Next time around I'll give the Rigid D series a try, they still put out more than the stock Rigids being 4 diode light vs a 2 diode.

I just ordered the Cali Raised 3x2 fogs as replacements since one of my factory Rigid went bad. They just came in today. I've very happy with their 32" light bar. The metal brackets will get rid of the shake issues from the factory plastic one. Looks very quality. Will install them this week and give you an update. Couldn't beat the price though. Only down side so far is their install instruction suck ass.

on the light bar it's kinda confusing how the bar itself actually mounts up to the brackets. Remove the upper grill. The lower grill I just took the top two screws out of each side and had enough room to pull it back without having to actually remove the whole thing. The last two bolts were pretty tight and I didn't want to fight to get them back in. It was really pretty straight forward after that. There's extra brackets that you won't use. Ran the wires up to my battery then around the fuse box and cut a small hole in the top of the boot for the steering column. I only cut a hole big enough just to push the wire through. Once completed I put silicone around the wire at the boot to keep it water tight. Remove the 2 bolts at the bottom of the dash. The one on the left is hidden by the kick panel. Easily popped out after that. I used the empty space on the right side to mount my switch. wire in the switch just like the pic on their website.

The fogs out of the box had an extra bracket on them and I was like how the hell do these mount in the bumper brackets. just pull on them and they come out lol. I watched a youtube video on the install of the fog lights that helped out.
