Welcome Steve. Gorgeous truck! Stay dry today, it looks like you guys are in the path of a big one. I grew up in Roanoke and my heart is still there with family and friends.

Thanks! I’m probably going to be wishing I went with Gray or White once I get her out doing what she was intended to do . Always loved black vehicles, but they are such a pain to keep clean and show every imperfection. Congrats on your new truck as well!!

Thanks Matt, any decent places in VA besides Flagpole Knob to take the Tundra out?

Perfection is elusive. But, this website is proof that we must "endeavor to persevere".

Yeah, I love Flagpole Knob. Another great trail is the Bald Mountain Jeep Trail, BUT it is narrow and my truck got a ton of scratches. Luckily they buffed out. That trail starts just outside of Sherando and goes to the Parkway. Shoe Creek Trail is closed last I checked. It's near Crabtree Falls. VA kinda sucks for offroading. There are others in SW VA, just haven't gotten there yet and I need to research where they are.

Right on, thanks for the info. Definitely looking like NC might be the place to find some decent trails and forrest roads to get lost on.
