@Okrunman When I installed my Flex (post 297) I was going to try and utilize the track system as you did. For me it appeared that the Flex bed cover rails sat higher than the 1/8" (per install instructions) above the bed rail due to it sitting on top of the adjustable cleats (the black adjustable knob was removed). Therefore, I removed the cleats before installing the cover. My question is did your cover sit a little higher than the 1/8" above the bed rail due to sitting on top of the cleats? If so, have you had any issues such as leaks? Side note with my current install I am getting some leaking on all 4 corners. I expected some at the corners near the tailgate but none up front.

Does this tonneau use the factory bed rail system without having to relocate them?

I installed an UnderCover Armor Flex Tonneau Cover (Line-X coating over aluminum panels) around 6 months ago. Love it so far and took only an hour to install to factory rail system. Very durable and I like that it can be folded / flipped all the way up or 3/4 up. Let me know if you have any questions and hope this helps!

After reading several of the reviews on here and on YouTube, I went with the Lomax. Couldn't be happier with my choice! I've driven through heavy rain, and tested with the pressure washer at the car wash. Only about 1-2oz of water at most coming in from tailgate. I bought the tailgate seal from Lomax, but have yet to install. With bed mat now, zero water would touch anything in the back.

For Christmas, I got this on Amazon, about $431. Another seller shows the exact same item as a "Deebior" brand for $445.
Puermto 5.5'/66.7" Hard Quad-Fold Black Aluminum Rails Waterproof Tonneau Cover For 2007-2021 Tundra Crewmax Cab Pickup

As it turned out, I ended up with a second identical one that I need someone to take off my hands. It has minor dings from shipping on the first hinge that don't show when the cover is closed. Otherwise it's in perfect shape, but they said not to bother shipping it back when they sent me a replacement. Any takers? Make me a reasonable offer! :)

My replacement one (shown above) arrived on Dec 26, and got it installed in no time. The perimeter weatherstrip is pretty much like you have on a car door (but bigger) - very heavy duty with a hollow channel for compression. Laterally along every hinge joint, there's also a thin rubber strip that's compressed when the thing is unfolded. We took it on a road trip over the holidays but didn't encounter any real rain. This past week, however, we've gotten a lot of rain, and the inside of the bed has stayed nice & dry.

Compared to a lot of the other options, this is a more budget-friendly choice. On my 2002 Tundra, I had an Extang soft vinyl cover with the snaps around the perimeter. It kept things dry, but it was a bear to put on if it was remotely cold outside and the vinyl stiffened up. It also provided zero security if someone wanted to slash it to see what I had inside. I was determined to get some kind of hard cover this time around, and so far I'm extremely happy with my selection.

The panels leak like hell, not the rails that attach to the bed of the truck. The rubber bushings between the individual panels are horrendous. During rain storms the entire bed is wet. My bed is filled with those Rubbermaid 5 gallon totes because nothing stays remotely dry. All covers leak at the coroners, I would have been thrilled with that!

The plastic buckle fell off along with the rubber feet that are attached for when you fold the cover up against the bed. And Bakflips answer was just to get me to send more pictures...I sent them over 30 pictures and it wasn’t enough to get it replaced under warranty. At the time I owned it only three weeks.

Additionally they wanted me to send a videos and pictures of me running my hose because the rain storm pictures weren’t enough. I refused the hose videos because I am not wasting water and water is expensive where I am. I was so angered at the time I wanted to sent the cover back filled with dog S$&! because that how I was treated as a customer...lucky was wife talked me down.

I literally open and the cover once maybe twice a week since May of 2020. It’s a second vehicle. Ohhh and the latch’s are loose...I feel used but ultimately they won. I have a horrible product they they have my 850 bucks.

Does anyone use soft tonneau with Wilco adv bed rack?
I need the cross bar of bed rack that should be move forward.
Cause I need to load my dirt bike, I don’t have to remove the bed rack.

Not the best picture but it’ll do. Added a Tonnopro Lo-Roll to the truck tonight. Had one on a previous Silverado and it can’t be beat for the money. I dig the low profile look and they’ve even made some improvements since the last one back in 2016.

Headed in the Ultraflex Armor Flex direction. It has the LineX on top, which will keep it looking good for a long time. The interrupted surface is actually not as hot in the sun than a flat smooth surface. The engineering on this one looks well done. I need the flexibility of using the full bed (minus the 8” at the top that it takes up when it’s vertical) without having to remove a tonneau. I had a Retrax on a former Tundra, and liked it. It leaked at the tailgate like most, but I got tired of the space that the box took up.

Dropped a Retrax onto her within two weeks of picking her up. Live in California so hail isn't an issue.
Installation was a snap and after three nice storms, it's dry inside.
For my purposes it's real functional so let's see how it holds up over the next year.
BTW, my unit is the manual one.

This is my top choice for sure. How do you like the coating on it?

Any thoughts from any Diamondback owners on heat being an issue with the black finishes vs the reflective unfinished aluminum? FL Sun is brutal and contents being cooler rather than warmer would be a plus.

I really like the coating. I only just installed it, so I can't speak to any heat issues. With the underside of the cover being raw aluminum, I don't see any reason why you couldn't install some automotive flexible thermal insulation to the underside to control radiant heat in the cargo area. I've used light-weight combo sound deadener and heat barrier mat on a few of my vintage muscle car interior floor pans to control heat from the engine and headers/exhaust system.

That's a really good idea. I was planning on running some light wires in there with leds for lighting in the bed and scene on the outside - I could just wire everything up and take it and have icynene sprayed in haha!

That looks really sharp: I think your choice of smooth the smooth finish looks great. I'm interested to hear what you think of it after having owned it for a while. I'd really like to get one with the tool tray in the front, but I also use the entire bed of my truck a decent amount. How easily removed is the Diamondback?
