Has anyone had good luck with any sort of coating on teflon coated wheels? Anything I've tried has been short lived. Not sure wether or not it's a good idea to use a spray on "ceramic" like Mothers. I like it on paint but have found little return on search for anything related to teflon coated use.

2nd question: has anyone had any experience with a sun joe pressure washer? Idk the difference between "cold water" or not, haven't googled it. Found this. Figure if it lasts 2 summers not a bad buy? It comes with some attachments and a foam cannon. The included foam cannon can't suck any worse than the hose end one that I bought from MATCC on Amazon.

Have you tried ceramic coating the wheels? It’s more expensive but it keeps the brake dust from building on my wheels. I bought a kit with ultraviolet flashlight for I don’t know how much. It does three or four sets of wheels.
I haven’t tried the pressure washer you mentioned but I bought the cheapest one from Home Depot. It works great on the truck and our patio. I use a torx foam gun.

I’ve tried a few coatings on my wheels with little success. I can’t speak for Teflon coated wheels, as I don’t really know much about them. I put Cerakote on my wheels a few days ago, but I don’t know how well that will do yet. It worked great on my metal nerf bars, so I have high hopes. Hopefully it will make them as easy to clean as my nerf bars are now.

I don’t have a Sun Joe pressure washer, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about them. They seem to be the brand of choice for professional detailers who use electric ones. The PSI on that one is good, but the GPM seems a little low. Mine is 2.3 (Greenworks) and it works great. That said, it should be just fine, especially for the price.

I only say the GPM is low if you want to use it for something other than washing your car. It may not be super effective for cleaning bricks, driveway, etc. I have a little a Ryobi one that’s 1.2 GPM, and it doesn’t make a dent on anything other than paint.

I had a set of American Racing ATX Teflon Ledge wheels on my old Tundra. They weren't actually Teflon coated. If they were, the coating was very temporary. I became convinced that the "Teflon" in the name was more of a color and marketing thing. I could be mistaken, but that was my experience.

I have a SunJoe SPX3000, essentially the same as the one you have pictured. I love it. As is probably the case with a lot of consumer grade electric pressure washers, the specs are very overstated. That being said, they have more than enough power to wash a car. The foam cannon that comes with it is only slightly better than the MATCC foam gun you purchased. MATCC also offers foam cannons on Amazon, and will work very well with that unit. There are pressure washers that you can run hot water through, but they run a lot more than cold water units.

These units have pretty crappy fittings, and will leak some.....replace them with quick connects. The hose is 25 feet, and you do end up having to move it around a little to get around the vehicle......you can work with it,but will be happy when you replace it. I bought a KobraJet hose from Obsessed Garage, which is pricey but comes with stainless quick connects.

Coatings...regardless of what name they go by and what crazy claims they make, are temporary. People think 'Teflon' and think nothing could possibly stick to them. I actually like going with people to buy new cars to hear some of the outrageous nonsense that some sales people say.
