Video App on 2020 Tundra Head Unit

Can anyone tell me how to watch a video on your Tundra head unit? While I was waiting for mine to be delivered to me, there was a guy there getting his 2020 Tundra oil changed. We started talking, anyways he had the exact same radio and set up like mine. I asked a few questions about different things I didn't know about, like android auto etc. But while he was showing me he said the head unit while you are stopped with parking brake on you can watch movies from a usb card.
I got the same app on my radio, but really didn't have time to get in how/or what program you need to download from your computer to usb.

Any help on this?
Would be really nice when I take my daughter out for ice cream and sitting in truck we could watch a movie on a bigger screen then my phone..

I have a 20 with JBL and couldn't get it to work. I did read a few post where others where able to do this through the USB but only 19 and earlier truck years. You didn't mention if your system was stock JBL or non-stock other type.

 

Google/YouTube “carbridge”
Allows you to use more apps through CarPlay, haven’t tried it yet since my drive to work is only 15 mins but might think about getting it once my infant can start doing road trips.

 

I got the Entune Audio Plus-8 for a head unit...

This requires you to jailbreak your phone or to go to known spammer web sites to get it installed. The data on my phone is too important for me to risk that.
