    Been a member of various Tundra forums dating back to when I bought my 2008 DC in January of 2009 (with 13,429 miles). For a while, I was crazy active in several of them (I'd like to think I was the guy that finally solved the last lingering mystery of the Gen 2 Auto Climate Control swap to keep it from resetting every time you started the truck). Used to go by usernames LCBrewing and CIPuyleart in various places. This nickname, really, is the most fitting for me though.

    Life got crazy with a new work position around 2015, and I've not returned to any of those forums until the past week or so. I THOUGHT I was already a member on this one, but I think it was a predecessor or similar one called ToyotaTrundraForum.com or something like that (nothing but a dead link now when I try to find it).

    Anyway, with 296,694 miles on my 2008, I started to think about jumping on a new one. If I've gotten nearly 300k out of the drive train/frame/etc. on my Gen 2, I'd like to expect that the Gen 3 with the same core parts should get me that again.

    So, Sunday, I got "lucky" and scored a 2021 TRD Pro in Lunar Rock. It's not actually here yet (some time this week though) - but once it shows up I'll be starting to rack the miles on it. And I'm currently starting to look at what mods are out there that I want to tackle on the new one - it's got a LOT of the options that I had previously modified my 2008 to have...but there are always a few new things that I guy wants to try!

    Ok... not the best, but here’s the 2008 with 296,998 when I parked in the driveway tonight. In some ways, I’m going to be a bit sad when it’s gone. My ass has been in the seat of that truck a LOT in the past 11-1/2 years.

That's just my opinion.

    I’m leaning toward red TRD and black PRO but want to find something that is more like the tailgate infill for thickness and quality. Most of the options I’ve seen aren’t great for quality.
