    Dang, that's not good. My bilstein 6112's use eibach springs to. Its hard to see in the pic. But it doesn't look like the spring broke. It looks more like it lost its spring. Like it just went limp. Get that thing some Viagra!

    Yea true if it broke there would still be gaps over most of it except where it broke. Went limp is a good description. A lot of brands use eibach springs.

    It looks to me that it broke in half and then the upper half intertwined with the lower half.

    I'm not suspension expert but on the MX track when this happens the culprit is a blown shock. Was there a puddle of oil from the shock under your truck?

    EDIT: This stuck out in my memory but it was with a testing version of an air shock. Air shocks don't have coils, disregard!

    The coil holds the weight of the truck not the shock. If the shock was blown it wouldn't look like this. On a toy the shock might because the weight is so small.

    Damn Jose, that sucks. I wish that I would have seen this earlier and work wasn't getting in the way. I could have towed you and we could have went and grabbed twelve one packs.

    Smart choice on the tow. @dragos28 broke a spring on his Fox Shocks when I was out in CA checking out his rig. It is actually more common than you might think (I carry an extra set of springs when I Jeep outside the state). I would look at the spring to see if you had coil contact. Didn't you just get these shocks a while back?

    Might want to call Filthy Motorsports in Denver, order some PAC springs....they be nice.

    I'm just really glad this didn't happen driving 85 on the highway with the wife and kids. Hopefully nothing else got damaged or bent, you should have your truck back in no time.
