I'm considering buying a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/75r18. Can get a crazy good deal on them. I've read a few mixed reviews and was wondering if anyone here has personal experience running this tire?

I don't really take the Tundra offroad, but like to keep that option open.

    Any personal experience is appreciated!

I’ve had two sets and I love them. Did a lot of highway driving and they were sooo quiet I never really notice them. Great off-road as well, pulled me out of some really thick mud once when I was on 4x2, a less aggressive tire and I’m sure I would have needed a pull out. Best of both world tires for me.

Thanks - this mirrors other reviews I've read outside of this forum too. Seems the chunk pretty bad in gravel. Do you have any idea how they hold up in the cold?

No clue on cold. I haven’t had any chunking on mine but do air down when going over sharp or rocky terrain. I did have some mild chunking on the OEM LTX AT2s.
