So I installed my new head unit...
The wiring hardness is soldered so I know I don’t have any bad connections.

I have confirmed 12v continuous and accessory.

I’m leaning toward suspecting a DOA head unit.

Gonna call Crutchfield in the am. Any thoughts?

I even tried moving the screen forward to make sure that the bezel wasn’t interfering. No luck.

    TIA

Did you check your 15 amp fuse in the HU?

Curious if anyone has any ideas for me to check on this? The protective cover above is installed and mines not powering up. I’ve got a text into the seller and we’ll see what he comes up with for troubleshooting. Things I’ve checked so far…
    Protective cover (installed)
    15 amp fuse on HU
12v constant at yellow all the way to HU (13.57v)
12v ACC power doesn’t appear to be present at red wire to HU
Maestro RR2 seems to blink for a second then goes dark when turned on.

Does anyone know on the 2019 where I would find 12v ACC power that would translate to the TO2 harness down to the head unit? I’ve bench tested the HU and it’s for sure working. I’ve also checked the fuses in the cab and they all appear good. I’d like to be able to test for the 12v ACC power at the factory harness to make sure the problem is in the aftermarket harness and my wiring. Thanks guys.

Honestly, I think my problem might be related to the Maestro. It looks like the red wire from the aftermarket HU harness goes to the Maestro power input. If I look at where the TO2 harness plugs into the factory harness, the only red wire on that connector (with the yellow and black), is red/black and it also goes to the Maestro. It’s like the ACC power is passing through the Maestro but not making it to the HU if that makes sense. Can anyone who knows verify this? Maybe I missed plugging something in the Maestro. There’s lots of empty plugs left on the Maestro.

Got it, firmware on the Maestro didn’t take the first flash. Working like a champ now!

I know this is an old post, but thanks for this. Totally missed those notes in the instructions and skipped that cover thinking I wanted to test everything before putting in all 6 screws plus the cover.

After trying several RR resets, reflash, double checking wiring, finally ran across this thread… Immediately knew that was the problem. Thanks again!

    Hey Jeremy,

I am having the same issue as you did, but flashing did not seem to solve my issue. Do you happen to have any photos of your TO2 Harness connected to your factory radio? I am not getting any power to my Maestro and thus my HU.

Also, see you that are in CO. You happen to be in the Denver area?
    Thanks,
    Brandon
