It's a Tacoma X-Runner. Basically a factory lowered Tacoma. I see Tacos daily but have only seen maybe 3-4 of these ever. I had a Taco up until a month ago and loved it...loved the looks...but to me once you lower them the look silly.

I always liked the look of the X-Runners. Oddly enough I just saw a Red one the other day, first time in a long time.

It wouldn't fit my needs, but I'm sure they are a blast. If I remember correctly their cornering abilities were excellent.

If I remember correctly, the x runner was built with the specs of the Nissan 350z in mind. I'm pretty sure it had more hp did better in a strait line and cornered just as well. Not that anyone in the market for a 350z ended up with the Xrunner but hey, it's the thought that counts right?

Wow this thing looks so good! But I can assume that those overfenders with rivets will be looking like riced out body kits on honda civics from 2000s. Would look pretty touch on a prerunner truck.

I saw this truck on one of Rutledge's shows one time. I can't remember how much he said he has in the truck but it was a nice chunk of change. I think he was trying to sell it a while back.

Ya that thing is sick. It's an 08 5.7 supercharged regular cab short bed that was a trd promo that sat in Toyotas show room in Cali till 2014 or 2015 I believe, that's when they finally said ok to Ruts idea to put the 3rd gen body on it. He then drove it on hot rod power tour in 2015 or 16

Yea, that thing needs some after market parts... It's one BA truck. I'd gladly drive it. I can't imagine what parts you're referring to? Just doesn't look like they left much stock.

From personal experience. I can tell you that the x runner will smoke the tires for a good 2 minutes without moving an inch.
    Glad it wasn't mine.
