Anyone have a suggestion for what to use for the bottom bracket or if it is needed? Got them installed but don’t want to run long without the lower bracket.

You could move the bracket to the center, leave the clamps where they are, and gently tighten each side until they are even and snug.

I’ve been running the Bilstein ones for about a year and a half with zero issues. Two screws and your done.

Got these and threw them on. How tight should they be? Is it possible to over tighten and damage shock? Don’t want to inadvertently do any harm.. thanks!

Just snug them up. They are aluminum so you can easily break or strip the threads if you go to tight.

Not as worried about the clamp as I am about the shock. But that’s good to know!! Shock should be fine?

Nah. Shock will be fine. The bracket is a far softer metal than the shock body is made of.
