I just bought my 2012 Double Cab a few months ago and did some small moss so far. I have added a Tyger tonneau, truck bed lights, a bed step and Ionic 41 series running boards because I like the look.

I also really enjoy looking at the cool stuff that others have down to theirs.

Finished wiring up my accessories today and started the big 3 upgrade with 2/0 cable. I just did the battery to chassis today while I was there. Also got a lot done on the bumper!

    Changed the oil this afternoon.

I also scored an optitron instrument cluster off ebay for $150 this week. The mileage is high, by 10k miles so I think I will wait to install it. Though I may plug it in soon just to verify the mileage.

Replaced my chrome running boards with these brand new NFabs I found on craigslist for $175! Guy was selling them because a small dent that occurred during shipping. Just sold the old chrome ones for 80 bucks... not a bad turn around.20201015_131622.jpg 20201015_131628.jpg

Decide to wash and wax a couple of our whips!

My Tundra is a 2007, Lexus is a 2006. I think they both look great for their age.

    O.S.T.

Unfortunely, my rear window vent visors started to crack. Decide to take them off. I think I will take the front ones off too. (As I was going to order a brand new full set. Not anymore.)

    PXL_20201019_215859881[8388].jpg

Here's two of the five whips we have. I like the Lexus without the vent visors.

Got some new tires today. Now I’m thinking of doing a leveling kit. Any recommendations? The front currently sits about 3” lower than the rear with everything stock.

I’ve also been eyeing the Alpharex headlights and tail lights. I think they look badass and add a modern touch to an old truck.

depends on budget. Bilstein or toytec.

Those look great. I have a platinum as well and have wondered what it would look like with some more aggressive tires. What size did you go with?

yeah I ordered the rock warrior grille. I didn’t like the platinum one either, I think the black grille makes it look better. I just felt like the platinum grille was too much chrome on the front end.

line-X it but you can DIY too. scuff/light sand the chrome then paint away.
You can also find some black plastic front bumper on ebay from the basic gen 2 tundra version.

Nothing exciting, but new OEM rear brake pads, amber fog light bulbs, and a set of Wrangler Duratracs.

I’m fairly certain I’ll pick up a steel skid from RCI when Black Friday rolls around.
