It’s a beautiful day here in Pennsylvania this morning. Had frost for the first day of muzzleloader. Wondering if any of my tundra brothers or sisters are out as well. If so good luck hope!520CE35A-724C-4BA7-A396-C16165BCD365.jpg

    Pretty spot! Good luck!

Got back from moose hunting last weekend, and elk opens next weekend. Can’t wait!

Yessir. Mr. Moose is all cut and packaged. :)

I love Mule Deer hunting! What are tags like to get in your area? We can draw Antlered MD about every 5-8 years.

Good luck to you as well!

That’s on my bucket list, always wanted to go for moose and elk. Hunted Mule deer when I lived in SD. Thought it was a white tail, since that is all I hunted in PA, till it started to hop away. Good luck to the both of ya. So far nothing here but squirrels, blue jays and a cat walked by.

Out for evening sit. Small 4 pointer when I was walking in (whitetail), nothing else so far.

Got out looking for grouse. Didn't see a thing. I'm a newbie hunter, so I'm not sure if the first snowfall had anything to do with it. I was in an area a coworker told me to check out since he had seen a few dozen grouse there last weekend.

They should be easier to spot with all that white stuff on the ground. If you can catch them out. :)

    Nice truck!

    Thanks!

I hoped they would have been easier to spot. No dice though. Do they wait until things warm up a bit before venturing out? We were out at first light and it was about -10C. Had to head back to town around 11AM and the sun was starting to come out of the clouds by then.

Sorry, I won’t be much help. Not really knowledgeable about game bird habits. But your theory does make sense to me.

We mostly just find them where we find them. I’d like to learn more about them.

Had a button buck come in for a visit. I moved from my original spot in the morning to this area in my pic. He popped out to the left of the orange tree and grazed beside the corn, right where I was hoping more would show. Guess next week will have to be spent in the tree stand!
