Don't forget, the Walmart link I provided is half the price! Buy two for the price of the Amazon link. Have a spare for your spare.

So you remove the old sensor, cover the thread chaser with anti-seize and run it into the the hole to hopefully pickup the boogers in there? Did you also coat the threads of the new O2 in Anti-seize? Do you have the part number for the nuts, I'm going to bookmark this for later use.

Do we know anything about that manufacturer? DNA Motoring? It doesn't even list 1st Gen tundra in the description.

    Yes. Yes. No.

I also cleaned up the welds around the bung holes and used some rust reform.

My mechanic claims cleaning is the cause of the throttle position sensor failure.

The FSM says not to directly spray the Butter Fly as the liquid will travel down the pivot arm and bring with it dirt a grime, thus contaminating the Sensor.

Use a microfiber and spray the rag.

I’ve been reusing Paper Towels from drying my hands from all the washing from all these evil viruses out there. The Planetary Offset Credits are building Peas in places that need it.

I replaced all 4 02 sensors with new Densos, yet I've STILL got a intermittent misfire sensation at idle, along with sometimes stumble/misfire sensation pulling away from a stop. It's much better than it used to be, maybe 95% better at this point, but still not as good as it was last summer. 243k miles on the truck. Should I do the spark plugs next? I haven't even checked them for correct gap and overall condition. Oh here's another thing: if I run premium gasoline, the problem goes away. Makes me think this stumbling is detonation caused by lean condition. Maybe an injector that's not working right causing one cylinder to fire super lean, causing detonation? I don't have any check engine lights coming on either.

Can’t hurt to check the spark plugs. I use the NGK ones spec’d for our truck ($2 each). Not sure what else is going on with your truck, but sounds like you are figuring it out. Coil Packs might need inspecting when you do the plugs.

Hmm, ok. How do I inspect the coil packs? Can I test the resistance with a multimeter or something similar?

Yes. Also inspect for cracks. You have to pull them when checking the spark plugs.
