Well said fuck it and didn’t wait for a second hand and wrestled it up on the truck. Same 6 bolts as the old one, but trucks up nicer and is now also bolted to the bumper. Now I need to make a bracket for the 7 pin to tuck up to the body.

And 7300 lb capacity vs 5. @Pucks18 you want a hitch for $50 if you don’t have one already? The old ones for sale!

Have been meaning to post these photos of getting my truck stuck at a friends bachelor party camping trip at the lake...

So the lake had dropped in level quite a bit recently so areas that looked totally dry had mud a foot or so beneath. 2 of my friends go stuck that morning while a bunch of us were sleeping, I went to help pull them out and as you can see I tried to get in a spot to recover them and all of a sudden broke through that dry crust. Ended up having another buddy in his truck pull me out backwards and then the other 2 trucks pulled out as well. All in all, it was good times! PS im the guy in the black shirt with my dog. Also I didnt want to be where I was, I obviously wanted to be higher up on the sand but I was just going around a rock patch and I shouldve just passed on the left side and not the right! I like that everyone is holding a beer in the morning. Way it should be for a stag party.

I liked that you noticed that! Yea beers were definitely involved all weekend long, haha. Pretty amazing spot, we had a whole peninsula all to ourselves for 4 days, and all the beers and food we needed!

Today was Circle Back Day. The day one gets to Circle Back to stuff they installed (Mangled:rofl:) in the past.

    1) Driver Side Blinker in Mirror Mod —-> has been working intermittently lately and discovered the door keeper was pinching the wire inside the door. Spliced and crimped a new union and reinstalled panel. Working good.

    2) Pass Side Window has been rattling when in halfway position. Discovered the rubber glide that is suppose to be in track was resting at the bottom of door. The recent window rattle fix I did must have put undue pressure and slid it down with the Telfon Spray slippage. Fix—-> clean metal track and rubber. FuzeIt the rubber and reinstall. Working great.

So, both Door Panels had to come off today. Something I vowed I never wanted to do again for a long time. :annoyed: Fixed both so I feel good!

    3) This one really chaps my ass. The New Alternator seems to be making a low moaning sound. I heard it last week one day and then it went away so discounted it. Been driving all week and no problems. Thought I heard it yesterday. Started the truck today and heard it a little louder. Drove the truck and it tamed the sound down to almost nothing but its still there. I used a stethoscope type device to identify it close up as I thought maybe it was the Power Steering Pump just above.

Used the stethoscope all over the engine and its loudest on/at the Alternator (Rebuilt Denso). :annoyed:

Dash Gauge seems fine and steady. Alternator feels hot to the touch with bare hand. Not sizzling, but hot. Not sure what this means. I took some readings at the battery in idle, idle revving, idle revving with AC and Headlights ON, and engine off. Will post in another Thread if needed.

    The PHM Stetho: WHAT?

After several days of rain, it was nice out today, 76 and sunny.

Skipped out of work a little early so I can lay down some POR 15 rust preventative

Title definitons vary by state, but be assured, it was crashed, stolen, abandoned for lack of registration, flooded etc....

Someone cleaned it up and wants to pass on the clogged fuel system, and rusty internals for a profit.

Typically means it was totaled then rebuilt/restored to spec, inspected, and issued a new title.

Nice. You’ll be stoked. Forgot to take a pic the other day, but I spray painted my tow cooler with flat black the other day and it made it look brand new. Looked like yours prior.

Topped off the Transmission Fluid from the deficit removed when Radiator was swapped. Also, suck and filled the Steering Fluid with the bottle I found on the street corner. Here is an Anatomy of a Radiator.

Yeah. It was quite intense for such a little detail. Took three stages at about 3 hours each.

1)Tapped the front corner signals and ran the wires through the grommets.

    2) Removed completely the side mirrors and fished the wires through them.

    3) Made connection at foot well area on each side.

I had some grime on the bottom port walls, but overall clean. No blockages. Ran 10-15° hotter than the new one does. Not sure if the Prestone Flush did the goodness or the other stuff, but I think its the new Radiator.
