A good deal. I've had mine installed on my truck for about 2-3 years. Mine was made by OR-FAB in Chino Valley, Arizona. My son-in-law worked there and got me a great deal on one.

 

Thanks Richard! I do love the dual purpose of it, if only I didn’t have the RCI plate package I’ll still leave this plate on my truck.

I have the RCI front skid and transfer skid... would this give me more protection?

 

I have the desert eagle skid installed - very beefy. I park outside and really like the cat theft protection it offers. (I had the RCI skid prior but switched to the DE skid for the cat protection.)

If anyone does not yet have a trans skid, this is a great option. And even if you have a trans skid, this is still a great option.

 

Cats are expensive (and there are 4 on our trucks). Insurance would probably cover most but I figured easier to prevent the theft.

I only have this cover on my crewmax. My truck is 2 wheel drive and will never see offroad. Been many reports of thieves stealing catalytic converters and glad mine are protected.

 

Not to thread jack, but it makes no sense to me that the 2020's don't come with an OEM skid plate, but the parts diagrams show an OEM available.

 

Sf have a spike of Prius Batteries and Cat getting stolen..
