Good day to every proud Tundra owner on this site and everywhere. I decided to join this site and share my experience with my Tundra and also the journey that I am embarking on. I've owned my Tundra since 2007 and drove her off the lot with only 38 miles on the odometer. Today she is sitting at 22 1,175 and she drives like she has only 40K on her engine. Recently I tried looking into purchasing a new vehicle and found myself just HATING everything out there and when I looked into the new Tundra's, they didn't pull me over to wanting to invest in that price tag. Finding myself with nothing regarding new vehicle purchases (or gently used), I decided to invest in the vehicle that has been a consistent in my life over the past 13 (going on 14 this year) years. So my posts and threads will focus on upgrading, updating, and bringing the best out of Toyota's 1st generation of the new Tundra. This is my 2007 Toyota Tundra today after the following upgrades/updates:
    1. Interior Seats (front and rear bench)
    2. Interior Headliner
    3. Interior carpet
    4. Interior Audio
    5. Exterior Full Paint
    6. Exterior Grill, Bumpers and running Boards Chrome to Matte
    7. Bed Cover (Tonneau to Retractable)
    8. Bells and Whistles
As can be seen by the photos, she was in great shape from a cosmetic standing but she just wasn't me and deserved to be given the proper treatment that I have been given over the past 14 years. Also the upgrades to the interior and the exterior that have taken place over the past 3 months. More pictures to follow to show all improvements and upgrades. The first sets of pictures are what my Tundra was before the restore and the rest are after.

Very nice 07! Did you take care of that bed rust?

This weekend. Everything I'm seeing is this is such a common problem with owners of bed liners and Tundra's. Found that when I pulled the liner. Once it is repaired, I will spray with either Line-X or Rhino.

The rust usually works it way up. Look below where that rust is. The bedliners hide that rust. Several Tundras here have never had a plastic drop in liner and still have that same issue.

Inspection to the underbody have shown no damage so it is taking place from the top down. It won't be known fully until the bed is pulled up and everything is inspected closely. Great call out.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. @8MINT8, worked with my interior guy to come up with a solid pattern for the new leather interior. Had him install heated and vent seats, and he reinforced the old seats. Seats are def legit with how they feel and look. Appreciate the positives about them.
