Back in February, I purchased a set of these based on good feedback from the forum. Last night, I took them off as I was done towing my travel trailer for the year and went back to the OEM mirrors. Quality wise, I'd give these a 7/10. The glass does not vibrate and the packaging is well done and the price beats the OEM heated, BSM, tow mirrors by a long shot.

With that, my major issue was found last night when I removed them from the truck. Surface rust. The studs seem to not have any anti-corrosion properties and left a rusty stain on the exterior surface where they mount against the door. I contacted the vendor for suggestions and was told this was normal and to paint the studs as well as put petroleum jelly on the studs while they're in storage. Not too impressed with their customer service on that matter.

I will likely figure something out in the spring when I go to put them back on but just wanted to post my experience with them and the vendor. I did not get pictures of the surface but did take pictures of the studs to show how they've held up for 9 months of use in Tennessee rains.

Great feedback, thank you! I’ve been on the fence on these. I sure wish Toyota would include the BSM feature on the OEM tow mirrors.

I got mine and installed them today. Link below. I have a 2018 Limited, and it was nice to retain BSM, heated mirrors, and power mirror adjustments. Gained marker lights and turn signals which is awesome. Smoked out lights/signals look great. Be careful installing; the studs can strip easily (I need to get a replacement stud), and also, watch when removing the nuts, that they don’t fall into the door shell; about happened to me...almost mudded my drawers! The only other issue I have is the mirrors do indeed vibrate. Not ridiculously, but noticeable. Seals are seated properly, and nice and tight, but still a little vibrating. I’ll probably get used to it though; it’s a trade-off, retaining factory features and gaining the marker lights, turn signals, and tow extensions, versus a little mirror vibration and not paying the crazy price for factory tow mirrors, which would cause me to lose BSM. I’m overall happy with the $300 spent.

I have these tow mirrors as well and can confirm what has already been said. I will say that I bought a used set from a member that used them for a year before I got them, and I don't remember the studs being rusty.

Good to know thanks! I just got these. I will throw some rust paint on the studs before putting them on.

I forgot to update the thread but that's what I did before I put them back on in May.
