I want to upgrade the standard mirror to an auto dimming mirror with compass. Is this possible?

 

Probably. There may even already be a pigtail up in the headliner making it plug-n-play. Then you'd need to source the wire cover that would run from the headliner to the mirror.

Compass

The compass is a self-calibrating flux gate compass that eliminates manual calibration by the factory, dealer or customer.
