New to the forum not to owning Tundra’s. Pre ordered this beautiful Lunar Rock trd pro about a month ago and just picked her up in Colorado. FYI for anyone who doesn’t buy new often; I didn’t realize I needed to instruct the dealer not to drill holes in my front valance and mount a Lisence plate frame. Long story short...I spoke to the owner of the dealership and the only way we could agree to disagree was for him to thank me for my business by compensating me for my travels from Kansas which equated to the value of a new valance. This was the best way for me to leave happy without the dealership admittance of fault because “it’s what they do to every vehicle during prep because Colorado requires a front plate”..I would have agreed except this was not a vehicle going into Colorado lot inventory and they knew for over a month it was going to Arizona because they were filing the title in AZ for me. Love love love ❤️ this truck!!!

    Welcome from CT.

I had the sales manager sign a notation in my paperwork saying that if anyone drilled the valence, put on any dealership stickers, or dealership license plate frame (rear), or anything else that Toyota did not put on the truck... I would refuse delivery at their expense. F'n hate when they think they can just do what they want to YOUR truck!

BUT it is very nice looking truck regardless!!!

    nice tundra. congrats.

No big deal on the front plate, leave the bracket and put a vanity front plate on.

So are you from Kansas or AZ? I noticed you said in your post that the dealership comped you for your travels from kansas, but that the truck is going to AZ.

Enjoy the board, lots of great folks here to help you spend money

I second guessed the color for a bit because many pics look very green but the more I looked into it I realized the color is very dependent on the environment and light so I went for it. Honestly it looks like a different truck at different times of day, it is more green sometimes, light gray or dark gray depending...I can say it’s very different, more unique than any vehicle color I have ever owned and I’ve owned more than 50!

Yeah, literally every pic I've seen shows Lunar Rock as being quite a bit lighter than that...but that's almost like a cross between Army Green and the Cement color. I like it! Nice truck!

Congrats! What is the difference between the Lunar Rock and the cement? Is there more green in the lunar?

It appears to be the greenish hue, the cement is a little lighter too from what I can tell. I actually saw a cement the other day at a stop light and it was so close I thought it was lunar rock. Would be interesting to get em together and compare.
