we have not run into any shark fin problem. we position the cross bar in vertical position to clear the shark fin. that's why we have extra holes in the back of the side plates. hope this answer your question.

He did say it was pre drilled. I’m not sure how that would happen.

His hand would get glued to the trigger of the drill and the drill would end up.....never mind.

I don’t understand what you mean here by stating “the cross bar in vertical position to clear the shark fin”. Please explain that better because the cross bars appear like they only connect horizontally.

Looks like you’ve got a nice sized audience here looking at your product, especially myself. As it pertains to the wind noise, is it lessened a lot by putting that deflector on front or is it still bad regardless?

Lastly, is this a finished product or do you have some future enhancements in mind for the roof rack?

Once the black brackets go into the rail, there is no way to take them out right?

    Does this ship to Canada?
You said it's predrilled, but on the video, he drills the blocks.
No answer yet on the second question regarding the fin.

    Hello everyone.

I've installed the spider no drill Roof Rack on my 2010 Toyota Tundra double cab. Install was pretty straightforward. Currently I'm waiting for Tiger to list hardware accessories for the cross bars. It looks like the cross bars are similar to some of the name brand racks that use the T channel hardware. I purchased this rack to hold my spare above the cab.
Hopefully this hardware becomes available as so I can get some eyehooks or eyelets whatever you want to call them.
The only complaint I have with this rack, if there is no load on it, it reverberates inside the truck. I'm sure if you had this with less aggressive tires probably wouldn't be an issue. I'm currently just using a ratchet strap to put pressure on the cross bars.. it has removed the reverberation.
Has anyone else purchased one of these racks? Did anyone find hardware for the crossbars or modify some hardware on theirs to accommodate strap points for strapping a spare down. I've looked through most of the threads and haven't found this topic

Got my Spider rack installed a few months back. Went to his shop in person to get it installed. He provided me with a hefty amount of T bolts and strap points which thread into the T bolts. Surprised his site does not have them listed for sale.

I'm sure contacting him could get some sent out to you or at least questions answered. These are Hammer Head Bolts. I am unsure if he made these designed specifically in size for the cross bar insterts or if they're just generic Hammer Head bolts you could buy on Amazon like
    https://www.amazon.com/Thread-Standard-Aluminum-Extrusion-Profile/dp/B09D7W4QQR?_encoding=UTF8&c=ts&keywords=T-Slot+Bolts&qid=1637819044&s=industrial&sr=1-4&ts_id=16409741&th=1

I never bothered looking into it personally as he gave me MORE than enough when I went down to him.

@Dannyglaze. I have had the rack for around 6 months now. No issues at all. The wind noise is minimal and I hear nothing inside the cab as far as reverberations. I have a 6" lift and 35" tires. I absolutely love this thing. Any questions I have had I get a response super fast with the help I need as far as accessories go. I use IG to message him, I think this is the fastest way to communicate with him.

Does the rack interfere with the Sat/GPS antenna? Also, can someone give me the height of the rack from the roof to the top of the "side-plates", I have a Four Wheel Camper and want to make sure I have the clearance. Thanks.

A buddy of mine just picked up a Tundra with the spider rack installed. He is removing it and giving me a good deal on it. I previoisly had thule cross bars and was gonna get an uptop overland rack but still dont want to drill through my roof.

Does anyone else have any long term reviews of this rack? Also, anyone know what adhesive is used for the brackets? I called the number on thr website and all he said was marine adhesive from home depot. He didnt clarify further and sounded rushed to get off the phone with me.

Its Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy Adhesive #14310. I couldn't find this at Home Depot. I bought a few more tubes online because i not only put epoxy in the drip well, but also made "fillets" on the sides (filling in the gaps on the edges) of each block. I would be hesitant to use the same blocks your buddy rips out of his truck's drip wells unless you really inspect them. I'd be surprised if he got all the epoxy off. You can call Spider and get new ones which I would recommend. I was going to snap some pix to update this thread hopefully this weekend.

I haven't noticed anything with regards to the GPS not working within the map tracking my position. If someone doesn't beat me to it, I'll try to get this height measurement for you by this weekend.

Thanks. I will check out the blocks once he takes it off and see if it is still worth the good deal.
