Id like to swap out a few interior pieces with black OEM replacements. This was something i did on my Tacoma with the help of the black out interior thread on tacomaworld. Ive done a little research to try and locate these part numbers and just thought id share with what ive come across so far. Going to replace piece 4 and 5. The center panel and the air outlet vents. Just throwing this idea out there for others that may be interested. Thanks

I will for sure. It'll be interesting pulling the dash apart. Looking forward to the new truck. The girlfriend isn't to happy about it. But I might as well go all out all at once. :anonymous:

Nice plan. I hate the silver trim. You gotta get rid of the silver on the steering wheel too. Oh and don't forget the silver trim on the door panels too. Lol. It never ends!

Can you post how much you spend on this project? It's something I would like to do eventually.

Definitely will post up pictures and final details. I don't have the truck yet so it's hard to see what's fully needed on the trim parts. I'll have to confirm if the vents are actually needed or if the rings are built in to the panel.
I've tried to locate the black steering wheel control but not sure if they are a option for the tundra. I had them on my 13 Tacoma but there was no display button on the right hand control.
I've found them on the 16+ Tacoma and 4Runner but the part number say not compatible with the tundra. I believe they all have the same steering wheel so i really don't know why they wouldn't work. But then again I guess the radio is different between the Tacoma/4Runner to the tundra I believe.

Good idea. I'd be interested in an alternative to the silver dash.

I may actually get my hands on these parts and paint them cement to match my exterior. I did that with my white truck

Just an FYI...The weathertechs on the passenger side slip forward unless your PRO has locking tabs like drivers side I put some strips of velcro to underside to grip floor carpet so mat won't move

Im willing to bet that the top complaint on the tundras is all the chrome in the cab. Its blinding.
I gotta have the black parts too!

IMG_0016.jpg IMG_0017.jpg This is what I did to mine , still the silver parts on door panel and steering trim to come . It takes a little patience but I really like the outcome . Soon it will have the Katzkin Suede leather upgraded to the seat as well to match the carbon look

You can get them on either Ebay or Amazon . I got the matte one ,not shiny . Make sure to get the high ends like 3M products so it easier to work them around the contour of the part without tearing off when you heat it.
Also , I've ordered the roll with the width at least 3ft wide so they will be long enough to cover those trims on the door panels as well

Sorry but I did not get what you mean by heated Katzkin .
I'm going to have the Katzkin Suede installed on the seats by a local dealer soon

Yes sir, as my first try wrapping them with a cheap roll of 5d carbon fiber and they tend to scratched off very easy and the adhesive don't stick very well neither .
Ended up with more quality 3m 3D Matt and loving it . Way easier to work with ,the material is thicker and more durable as well .
