Hi! New to me 2017 Tundra CM limited. I have currently replaced the mirror caps and door handles with color matched (no chrome!!).

I’m now on the fence for the Pro Grill with color matching bulge and surround. The prior owner looks to have had the chrome bulge and surround wrapped to cover the chrome and also looks to have painted the grill. It is starting to chip and fade as you can see.

I like the way the pro grill generally looks. I like the all black but thing the color match would look sweet too. I would probably go with the 2014-2017 pro grill but the new one looks sweet too.

I’m in the same boat. I want to paint the grille black and get the surround and bulge wrapped. I do like the 14-17 pro grille because you get everything together for a decent price.

I say stick with it nothing against the Pro grill but it seems like everyone is rocking the same thing

I’ve been saying I’m going to grab a pro grill for three years now. I keep going back and forth on it, especially since it never came in silver and that adds another $200. I really like the look of your blacked out limited grill. But if you are going to have to repaint it anyway and want the MGM surround, you might as well grab the 17 pro in MGM. I doubt you will regret the decision.

Ever consider wrapping it yourself and painting the insert?

I hit a deer the day i was going to vinyl wrap my grill and bulge. I took that as a sign from the all mighty Kiichiro Toyoda, and went pro grill !!

I thought about taking a sledge hammer to it and telling my wife I hit a deer to do the same thing haha.
The chrome is least offensive on the silver (in my opinion) and I do not mind it, really. I would totally try wrapping it but it does not sound like anyone has found anything close to the silver sky metallic.
But man if I had MGM and had just color matched everything else, I guess I would go for it. But I do like the black limited look.

Yes I am still totally on the fence. I do like the blacked out limited grill but it’s in need of repainting at a minimum.

i do also like the pro grill but I may just like the color matched bulge and surround though.

I do think the MGM looks great when it is all color matched.

I'd stick with your black grille, so would stick with that.

Black out (OEM or bumpershellz) you bumper caps and you're all set.

Me to....but I'm biased and to cheap to invest in the Pro grille. I even blacked the chrome out myself to save $.

I actually like the honeycomb too. I’ve had a hard time figuring out if there is a honeycomb grill that comes with the color matched surround. Also, is the standard honey comb black or gray? I looked in the Roman post but would love input on a color matched honeycomb surround.

Roman just shipped me, today, a Honeycomb Pro Grille in Magnetic Gray. Mine will get repainted to Cavalry Blue.

    Trying not to mod it

To get the color matched honeycomb one you would want the TRD Sport Grille, or the Platinum grille. The insert is grey.
