Anyone rotate their spare in?

When I got my coopers i opted to get all 5, just to have a matching spare. Im sort of on the fence about getting another matching wheel (pro) and have the spare mounted (ditch the steel spare) to it and then rotate the spare in with the rest every 5k..

How many do this?

 

Does your Tundra have 5 tpms sensors? Mine only has 4 so i do a 4 tire rotation.
My lx570 has 5 and actually came with 5 alloy wheels not a steel spare so i use the 5 tire rotation on that

 

Good q.. not sure? Is that an option on the 2020 Pros?

 

If you have a 2020, the dash can display each tire pressure. If it displays the spare tire lbs then you have 5. ( At least that is how it is displayed on a 2013 LX 570 )

 

Looks like it doesnt, but thread below here discusses it a bit..can get one to drop into new rim and dealer could code it in ir something.. so seems feasible.

 

I have always done a five tire rotation with all of my vehicles.

The Tundra is no exception. I have since done three tire rotations with the five TPMS. Of course, only the four “rolling ones” register as they should. However, could be a different story for pre 18’ trucks.

 

I have 5 tires with all matching wheels. One rubber spare TPMS because I have gotta be cheap some places. I may someday put a decal over my TPMS light but whatever. I check it all the time with bi-monthly air downs and re-ups. I also know how a flat feels and think tpms is a nanny. Extra TRD-off-road wheel on CL for $75.

 

Hell of a steal finding that for 75!

 

I'm looking for a fifth myself for a spare, picked up the other four for $200.
