As some said above, I went through Jennifer at Wolverine Toyota and got the 7yr/100k platinum warranty for $1040.

If you guys don't stop dropping names and prices on here, you are going to get a very good thing shut down very quickly. Mother Toyota looks down upon posting this info and inter-state transactions for warranties since this the real deal factory warranty from Toyota and not third-party....

There are several threads here on this. If this information gets out to the wrong dealer and complain to corporate it is shut down.

I would discuss in a PM.

Not being mean or anything, but just want to see people get good deals for their Toyota products!

When I bought my 2013 Tacoma I got the same song and dance from finance dude on a lower rate with warranty. When I asked if he would have offered the lower rate without it he said sure. I said fine I will take it with no warranty. Finance guys hold back their best rate to get you to buy the warranty.

+1. There are other forums that follow this rule in order to not have issues of it being shut down. Shut downs have happened before. Keep all your info and rates etc. in PM interactions. Otherwise in due time it’s game over.

Ahhh thank you, I had no idea. I'll probably still keep it. I really enjoy the peace of mind of not having to worry about ever touching my truck should there be any issues. Coming from previous used GM and mopar vehicles I would love to perform nothing but basic maintenance.

Just got through reading this post again, and I missed something, food for thought for some maybe in price comparison, with your Toyota warranty you also get roadside assistance included in the price and lodging and rental, this is $$ if you go with AAA, etc, so figure that in your bill over the years you will use this service.

    I have a 16 Pro, 11.6k miles.
I know I need to drive it more but also don’t want to get stuck with any large repair bills.
Can I get a extended warranty or is it too late?

You should be okay, within 3 yrs, 36K miles, but do shop around for price, it varies, my recommendation is a Toyota platinum package, least amount of headaches, most benefits, peace of mind.

I might be wrong, found this for you, whichever comes first,
    Vehicle Eligibility 3
Vehicles are eligible for new vehicle Vehicle Service Agreements (VSAs) up to 3 years or 36,000 total vehicle miles, whichever comes first. Coverage is effective from date of first use as a new vehicle and zero miles.4 Coverage expires at the maximum time or mileage of the selected plan, whichever comes first.

In reference to your vehicle being 2016.

Yup I assume it’s too late.
I emailed both contacts above to double check. Trying to decide to keep or sell the truck. Garage queen never seen dirt and rarely rain. Maybe put her on Bring a Trailer! Hahahh

Relax, I have yet to invoke my extended warranty on several Toyota vehicles prior to 85K plus miles, you have miles to go:)

But it did pay off to have it when needed.
