Priced like a diamond but worth every penny is the Diamondback bed cover part#TU14TKC-HD-DX. Yes $2150 seems like a of cash for a bed cover but how much money would it cost to replace what's in your bed? For me it's about even. This bed cover adds about 50 rugged points to any truck, even my street Tundra. The Diamondback has good seals around the edges and locks down tightly with a twist of a handle. Opening at either end seemed a little over the top for me since there is a Bedslide in the bed, but imagine you and 3 other are off roading and ya get a little thirsty so you roll down the rear window and have your buddy open the back of the bed cover where you have your YETI cooler located and that will lead to a YouTube video.F5FB9705-87F9-4B54-8D56-601DBD856431_1_201_a.jpg F5FB9705-87F9-4B54-8D56-601DBD856431_1_201_a.jpg F61D30FB-73CC-44FE-9D39-C8CA8A2847DE_1_201_a.jpg AAFE71F5-2242-414B-B744-8D31950465FB_1_201_a.jpg BD5C04FD-9EE3-4A6A-A80E-2FFA17494348_1_201_a.jpg F61D30FB-73CC-44FE-9D39-C8CA8A2847DE_1_201_a.jpg AAFE71F5-2242-414B-B744-8D31950465FB_1_201_a.jpg BD5C04FD-9EE3-4A6A-A80E-2FFA17494348_1_201_a.jpg

Looks awesome! What’s the deal with the pink and blue tanks? Welding?

Looks great. I have been eyeing one of the lately. How long did it take you to install?

Ive got a Bakflip now and have been happy with it, but like that these can support a lot more weight on top.

I had 2 Bakflips and they suck. I took about 1 1/2 hours all together for installation.

Anyone regret getting the SE and not the HD? I cannot think of why I'd put 1600 lbs on top. I'd tow an ATV or load of material.

I have an SE and don't regret getting it. I haven't seen a need to carry anything too heavy up top. I've had to remove my Diamondback several times, though, to haul tall items. But removal and re-install don't take too long now that I've done it so many times - maybe around 15 minutes? I suppose if I had to routinely haul lots of heavy stuff on top I would have splurged for the HD.

Yeah that's what I was thinking.

Is there a preferred vendor or good deal to be had someplace specific on these things?

    A bunch
Check the Diamondback outlet on their site with covers that aren't perfect - huge discounts for minor blemishes that don't affect the functionality of the cover. All about luck for them to have your size though.

I have the SE and dont take it off often but today I was picking up some trees and needed more room. And damn does it really get hot in the sun! Might need gloves next time :annoyed: I don't regret getting the SE. I dont need the extra load capacity and never have needed it.
