Shit. Thanks. Yeah, I didnt have the best feeling trying to pull the original adjuster out, so It's going to stay. It's a little tedious to adjust, but could be much worse.

Gave her a quick wash down and bought her a new pair of shoes...

295/70-18 Ridge Grapplers. Stock wheels, still have the flaps on, and I haven't yet received and installed my shackles or shims. No rubbing whatsoever. They are pretty tight to the UCA's, just barely squeeze my pinky between them, but no rubs.
Tech commented "I can't believe how little balancing they needed". I think I've read other's comments regarding this with Nitto's...

    A couple more...

I'm thinking I may pull those running boards off, what do you guys think? Maybe I'll fab up some sliders or something at some point, but I may just go without for now...

Truck looks killer, especially with the new tires! It definitely looks cleaner without the boards and I wished I could do without them, but I really need them for my wife and son. If you (or the family) don't need them, I would pull them off.

I might test it out and see if I get any complaints from the peanut gallery. Maybe I should sell them real quick during the test period, so I can't just put them back on, but will be "forced" to order some Amp retractables... :notsure:

4WheelParts has the Amps on sale for $1,399 installed (+ tax) right now. That's one of the lowest prices I've seen installed.

The noise is coming from the pro skid plate. Not any aftermarket one.

I would have to agree with driverdog. I would black out the rest of your steps to match the rest of the blackout. Truck looks awesome!

    Thanks!

That's an idea. I am bringing it in to have a door ding fixed, maybe I'll see about having him black out my steps too...

Not sure why some skid plates make noise and some don't unless they aren't installed correctly. Mine has never made any noise.?

Installed a new tonneau cover (gator SR1). Not a low profile one by any means but got this one bc it had 2 latches and I wouldnt lose any bed space on the sides otherwise tracked atv would be a tighter fit.
*My other dilemma- tundra has been in the heated garage at 66 degrees for 2 days now. I started it to move it ahead some and noticed I could see the exhaust and looked kinda grayish tint to it. Tundra has just over 17k miles , checked the oil and was good smelled normal noto due for oil change till 20k. Am I just paranoid or should I be more concerned?

I noticed mine does this too sometimes. Was wondering about it as well. Doesn't do it all the time so I'm thinking it could just be the cold morning air mixing with the exhaust in the warm garage.

Yes with cold air that is normal but I didn't open the garage door when I moved the tundra is the thing that concerned me

Yes the tundra is FFV but I never run it. Always 87 or 89 octane
