Has anyone done this for kids in the back? What size did everyone do? Thought it would be cool to do, I saw a long time ago one guy did it but he said the monitor he used wasn't great. Thanks for any advice

I used a rear facing baby mirror contraption that was fisheye shaped and could see both sides.

I had one in my 14 4Runner and one in my 15 Dbl cab Tundra. Totally worth it. I can’t tell you how many times I listened to Disney Fire Planes. Never seen it though lol. I want to say it was a 10” I’ll try to find pictures.

You could always wrap it in gray vinyl.

    Function before sparkle.
Lol. We have a flip down in our Honda Pilot. I have heard that movie 30 times and seen it once.

    I always crack up at:

“I’ll never understand why you want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. We're not - we’re jumping out of you!”

I don't have one in the Tundra but we have an Advent(audiovox) 12" flipdown monitor in our Sequoia. I think 10-12" is good size.

My kids loved it when Thunderstruck came on and I cranked the subs up.

Those DVD players paid for themselves every time we would head to the dunes. Or anywhere really.

I traded in my 14 4Runner for my 15 Tundra. I was checking the DVD player at Toyota for a movie. This lady walks up to me and says “is that your new 4Runner?” I said nope just trade it in. She asked what I was doing and I told her checking for dvds before we leave. She looks in and goes oh that’s cool. I said hang on I’ll show you. Frozen was in there started it up and cranked the stereo. She yelled for her husband who was looking at a new one. They bought it and took delivery before my Tundra was ready.
