Ordered my tire pressure sensors so that I can move my wheel and tire package over after the lift is in.

I am considering adding the rear bar. How has it changed the ride on highway, straight line? Does it ride harder?

I am thinking of changing the sub out of my JBL tundra set up. I am curious, do you have the JBL system in yours? If so how did you hook up your sub?

I did front and rear on mine recently and there was a noticeable improvement on handling. I can’t tell if it rides rougher since I’m used to driving lowered cars. The tundra has always felt like a plush ride to me

Can someone in this very knowledgeable group explain how the sway bars function and correlate with off road use? It seems to the unknowledgeable (that's me) that the sway bars would impede off road capability because of the lack of independence or the wheels - but I am open to learning. Thanks.

PS - a very bad influence for the wallet but also very knowledgeable.

If you are actually off roading, you would want to remove the sway bars for the exact reason you described. I have read that some have quick disconnects so they can take theirs off when they go have fun but can reconnect once they are back on paved roads.

    A bunch
It ties the frame and the rear axle tighter together. It still allows for up and down travel but doesn't allow the frame and axle to be twisted differently. So if you end up with one rear tire up on a rock it will restrict how much the other tire can travel down. So for off roading it's definitely not a preferred mod.

Finally had a leveling kit installed in the front and a 1 inch block in the back, both from ready lift. I love it!

Bilstein 6112 front coilovers @2.5”. Bilstein 5100 rear shocks with toytec shackles @1”. 20x9. Xd grenade wheels with 295/60/20 ridge grapplers. Tinted windows. Gibson single side dual exhaust.
So. The ride from stock to bilstein. I honestly forget. Lol it was almost 20k miles ago and I only put about 3k on the stock suspension before I ripped it apart. I do know with the bilsteins it soaks up the hard bumps really well at speed. As for the bags. I don’t notice much difference. I also have a 1” shackle lift out back so I think that keeps the truck off the bags for the most part when unloaded and at the min 5psi. I tow a 21 foot center console a few times a year.... 5000 or so lbs. also considering A travel trailer.

You can spray then with bed liner or find a set of the black being sold on here. Many people sell theirs when they get sliders.

I agree. My other vehicle is a fun car I like to being to the track. I could use a little stiffer ride on the truck as a daily/towing, but plan on taking it off during offroading.

    100% agree.

Now this I am very interested in. Will begin to research. This comment also adds to the "bad influence on the wallet but very knowledgeable" group.

1/2” marine grade Baltic birch ply for everything but the inner pantry shelves and drawer interior. For those, I used big box-store birch ply. 56” fulterer Locking slides for the lower, 30” for the upper pantry countertop reveal, both up to 450lbs. Accuride slides for the drawer. I used rustoleum tan truck liner for the inner/outer. Chuck box in the rear is a lift-off top, coffee table hinges for the pantry lid.

Just due to how things are right now, my Tundra has been back burner. But I've spent a lot of time on this forum since April/May just learning and talking with people. I started with a wishlist of like 3 items, I don't even want to count it now
But it's fun getting to read and learn about all sorts of topics. Some that will relate to future projects, and some just because it's fun to learn what others are doing.
