What makes you angry?

I hated cursive and sign in print. It is a fast enough scribble it may as well be cursive, though.

 

I pop a gasket whenever I hear somebody say "Eckspecially".

Well, I just learned the end of last year that it is not as common as I had thought. We are one of three schools that still do teach it in the southeast region of our state. Cursive is basically “dead”.

I don't know if this bugs anyone but it really makes me steam when someone lists an old car for sale and they say "it needs restored". Really WTF?!? Where in the f*** did that come from?

The term “fur baby” is worse, that automatically irritates me.

The tire shop employees were a bit surprised.

Eye halve a spelling chequer

After nearly 40 years, "tubular" still drives me nuts.

 

Lol, she would have a fit with my job, I repair restaurant equipment and I can tell you that without exaggeration that 90+% of every kitchen employee that is not in the direct line of site of customers are not wearing masks or wearing incorrectly. I promise you that I have gone into dozens of kitchens in the morning before opening and 100% of staff is without masks. The wait staff is the funniest, they wear them out on the floor and when walking through the kitchen door the masks are pulled down by hand till back on the floor holding your food. One major supermarket chain that I take care of the deli/bakery equipment has a deli employee wearing a big badge that says "doctor's orders - NO MASK", she is running the slicers. If you think mask mandating is a good thing I suggest you just stay home.

Wried

 

As someone with zero intent to have children and loves my dogs as if they were my children, I will always say they're my fur babies and there's nothing you can do to stop me

 

You (figuratively) summon me for IT support then make yourselves unavailable when I start working.

 

You literally force me to put in what time I'm available and which contact method I prefer (hint: it's always email/ IM) then phone me outside of my available window and get mad because I didn't answer.

 

Reminds me of my mom texting me "call me" but when I call her 30 seconds later she doesn't answer

 

I almost threw the book "One Second After" by William Forstchen across the room, as he kept having characters think (not say) "should of" and "would of". I can understand if he was trying to emulate how people talk, but internal dialog? Did he not have an editor? To quote one of our elders, "C'mon, man!".

 

The only book I recall seeing it in was Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman but it was being said by 10-year-olds so I think that's acceptable.
