So I have seen the outside of the 2021 and compared it to my 2020 and couldn't tell much changed. What I want to know and probably some of you do to is what if any changes beside the price and colors change was made?

I know Toyota added the new "trail edition" trim level. I believe I read somewhere that dual control ciimate is now standard maybe for the SR5? I did see a 2021 TRD Pro in the new Lunar Rock Color at the dealership with Goodyear Wranglers on it, not sure if it came this way or dealer added? I know the new color on the TRD Pro is the whte, black and Lunar Rock. New color on SR5 is Army Green. Would be intresting to know what changes were made for each trim level if any?

Surprised you found a ‘21 model actually at a dealership! I drove around Denver a bit just seeing if I could just look at one and nada.

guessing the one you saw might be sold already tho since it had duratracs on it, they definitely don’t come with those to my knowledge

Correct I’m in Texas and was at Fred Hass Toyota and was in the area where the customers take delivery, so I was not able to check out the inside just the outside. I new it was the 2021 due to the Lunar Rock paint. The dealer is known for adding things to their trucks then charging an even higher price that’s why I didn’t get mine from them but they do sell lots of trucks even new ones with lifts. I almost positive they changed the tires in that one.

I believe the 21's have an updated version of the TSS and the like you said the Trail Edition and the added Nightshade Edition to the Limited. The leather seats on my Nightshade are different then those on the standard Limited trim. The MPG also dropped by 1mpg on all trims if I'm not mistaken

13/18 to 14/17. Wonder what changed that. Not a huge difference though.

One thing that apparently (?) has changed is the rocker panels. I have a 2021 Crewmax SR5 on order, should come in about a month, and I'm trying to find nerf bars for it but have been told the panels changed from 2020 to 2021. I called about the 5" Ionic stainless steel curved bars, but was told they will not fit the 2021. He said I might have a hard time finding them???

Who is he? They told me a 3rd Gen bumper wouldn't fit on a 2nd Gen truck and still denied it after pics were sent. Some ppl think they know everything lol.

Oh sorry... "HE" was at RunningBoardWarehouse.com. I've searched several of the online shops including that one, RealTrucks, TruckAnything, etc., but none of them seem to have 2021 Tundras as an option in their systems yet, but they have 2021 GMCs, Fords, etc. I thought that was weird...

When I bought my 2020, I had to search for a canopy that would fit a 2018 because the websites all said they had nothing for a 2020 even though the truck hasn't changed since 2014.

The dealership told me that not much changed body-wise between '20 and '21, so I thought it was strange that they would decide to change up JUST the rocker panels...

I would venture to guess that nothing has changed on the body from 20 - 21 with the exception of new colors.

I have a new 1794 coming in tomorrow. 1st 2021 sold in this area, and tomorrow is the day! The salesperson said the only difference between a 2020 and a 2021 is mine will have Apple and another phone system.

Dual zone climate control is on the TRD Off Road package in both the 2020 and 2021's I've seen, not the SR5 only though. Pretty sure the Apple Carplay is on the 2020's as well so I think the only differences are the colors and the trail package. Definitely no difference in the bodies.

List of changes Ive found so far:
    • I joked about it already, but yeah price went up (as always)
    • Quicksand is discontinued
    • Lunar Rock added as a Pro color, alongside SW, MGM, MBM.
    • Windchill Pearl color added
    • Army Green added; only available with OR or Sport packages
    • Trail edition added
    • Package options changed some, as mentioned dual climate control is a TRD option, there is also an option for audio plus high that appears to add JBL to TRD packages.

Nothing has changed on the body or mechanically. The reason parts aren't listed for 21s yet on aftermarket sites are the same as last year and the previous year. Its a CYA to prevent anyone from ordering something they would have to return in the event that Toyota actually did change something, they didn't.
