When I was given a date it was about 30 days, but they really got in just less than 3 weeks, but it will be the longest wait time of your life:pout:

I went/talked to 7 different dealers and everyone told me I couldn't order a pro. How'd you guys pull it off? Ended up buying a limited.

Sounds like BS to me. They should have been able to order you one. I can't believe 7 dealers would tell you they couldn't order you one. But then again I'm still waiting on my PRO from my local dealer.

Yea it shocked me, i even talked to people I know. They basically said they show up when they show up. And that ordering one wouldn't guarantee i'd get one. I had one small dealer who had ordered one for someone but it was a 7 month wait. I had cash in hand ready to buy (two dealers had them in stock, but wanted 10-15K markups  ). Pretty bummed now as I would have loved a cement pro. Instead got $5K off a limited and did 6112's and some other things week one....oh well. Next time.

Was told 8 to 12 weeks from local dealer in central CA. It's only been 5 weeks. I think Toyota decides on what to send the dealer. I ordered a cement pro and was told they'd be getting a red one in this month. Sales guy said they were trying to change it to cement. I do think it's weird that I'm a paying customer and they'd rather send them one that's not sold.

    Yeap, blew my mind.

And i'm with you to the above quote. I've never experienced not being able to walk into a dealer (let alone multiple) and being told I couldn't order a car to my specs.

i guess i feel lucky after hearing some crazy dealership BS from you guys^^^^. Other than not telling me how long it would take after ordering my Pro(cuz i sold my CM and havnt had a vehicle).... but after a little ass chewing(very mild chew, didnt want to piss him off and screw me out of my Pro) the dealer has been spot on with his dates.... Hope that continues.

Dealer told me that Toyota just does what they want to do without much regard to what the customer wants and there's really no rhyme or reason of why they do what they do. The dealer explained to me that I could go into Chevy and custom order a truck exactly how I want it with all the add-ons and I would have the truck in eight weeks where as Toyota just goes willy nilly n says take it or leave it

Maybe, but compare the end product. Toyota has a superior product and the good vendors only offer superior aftermarket upgrades

I had two dealers ready to order me a pro. Dealer 1 said it will take 4-5 months. "Unless anything changes." Dealer 2 said I put your order into Toyota. They only pick up orders on the 1st and 15th. Could be 3 months or more BEFORE they pick up the order. Then another 3 months to wait.
Dealer 3 said I will have the truck you want at the end of the month. "Do you want it?" I went with dealer 3. Only 25 days left in the month.. much better than 6 months.

I'm holding back on ordering anything until I get official ETA. It's been so tempting and I've missed a few deals already.:annoyed:

Haven't ordered anything yet. Waiting on official build date. But would like to add
    Method grid titanium 18x9
    Cooper ST MAXX 295/70/18
A few OEM black interior trim pieces
    Floor mats
Paint protection film for the front bumper and hood.
    Matte black roof wrap
Not 100% sure on the wheels just yet. Don't want them to look weird

@Rbtrd Question for you now that you got your TRD Pro.

    1. Did you get any factory accessories?
    2. On the website one of the accessories says Power Tail Gate Lock. Without this option you can still lock your tailgate right? Just have to use the key?

Sorry for all the questions! I ordered my TRD Pro and this will be my first truck :D

Your truck looks great BTW! How are you enjoying it so far?
