It was a very easy installation. The performance gain is surprisingly very noticeable! Definitely has more torque down low, I spin my tires without a problem.

I have the “ Loud version” which is the 5x12 mufflers.

These mufflers are much louder from stop to go but cruising it fades away.
I must say though the stock TRD mufflers are louder up in the higher RPM’s in the cabin. And I do like that tone a bit More.

    well worth the money though.
anyways here’s a pic of each system and videos in the link ! Enjoy

Do you by chance have any footage of the sound of the system? How does it sound on startup? The TRD Performance exhaust doesn't sound very "barky" on startup as it is.

The phone doesn’t catch the audio very well, did you see the videos in the Instagram post in the link below my post?

Ah, didn't see the right arrow on the post. Are both of the clips the new system, or is it first clip: TRD Performance second clip: DD?

Yes 1st clip is TRD and 2nd clip is from Dirty Deeds..

The phone audio doesn’t catch the TRD exhaust sound that well. It sounds more deeper and throaty than what it shows.

but the dirty deeds is for sure Louder and much more aggressive. Personally I like it.

    The Dirty Dees sounds great.
How does it sound when the truck downshifts?

Sounds really nice when downshifting, has a nice consistent Rumble/ Grunt especially when letting off the gas.

It also pops more than the TRD exhaust

I just put on this same exact exhaust...but notice a difference in dimensions. Your resonators look longer in the photo you showed. As well as the pipe length. Do you have a crewmax, double cab?

I have the crew max truck,
And yes I can tell your resonators do look shorter. Do you have the double cab?

Nope, crewmax like yours. 2018 model. Very strange they are different, wonder if the year model has something to do with it. Do you have the 38 gallon tank?

Edit: noticed you have an 18 as well

yup 2018 tundra with the 38 gallon fuel tank. I may have to ask Keith why yours looks different from mine. I’m assuming you got yours a while back ?? I just got it so maybe they updated the resonator

I purchased towards the middle of July. Took around 8-9 weeks to get delivered. Just got it put on 2 weeks ago so ours were probably made in the same batch. Please update if you find out anything, I'm very interested especially to know if there is any sound difference

Thanks to the OP I am on the fence about ordering a trd replacement exhaust.

I called dirtydeeds Keith was busy but spoke to a very nice young lady who answered my questions.

Now to decided what I want to do...

    Damn this site,
