Good light output, but not much better than the Zevo bulbs I already had. Somewhat scattered also.

Just absolutely too much money for them. I was expecting a much bigger difference. I didn’t get pics. Put them in yesterday afternoon and didn’t even look until this morning. Doubtful I can return them, but I’ll be asking.

I’ll try to remember and get pics tonight.

Nothing on their site is worth the prices they ask. The only thing I bought, and will ever get from them is the footwell kit. That kit is actually sort of worth the coin if footwell lighting is something you need. Although, you could build your own similar setup for much cheaper, the vled kit is unbelievably simple to install.

I went Amazon for all of my other led bulbs.

Nice! Did you cut off the tabs that index in the oblong holes on the OEM hood? Or is that what's covered in the red adhesive? Just trying to understand if the scoop came that way or if you modified it. Most of the videos I've seen show people cutting those tabs off.

Yes, the three tabs were ground down flat and 3M double sided adhesive was placed on the flat.

Do you use the same fumoto valve thats on the oil pan? Are they both the same size and thread pattern?

Wait?! Im slightly confused, did you drill your hood for this, or did you use adhesive tape?

Actually both techniques were utilized. There are eight holes to drill to attach the scoop for the snap studs and 10mm nuts. There are three odd shaped tabs that fit into an actual "scooped hood". I did not want to "carve-up" my hood for the "L and Minus sign" tabs to snap into. Therefore, I opted to grind those tabs flat and used double sided tape where those surfaces "mate"...

    Hope this helps.

Balls of Steel for drilling. I've wanted to do the same on my truck, but just can't justify doing it.
I wonder if using panel bonding adhesive would of been easier? :monocle:

I was ordering some puddle lights from them for my wife’s Sequoia. The ones I had on there from Amazon fell apart, so I decided to try theirs out. They weren’t too excessive on those. (60 bucks a pair. Think I paid 30 for the Amazon ones.)

I decided to try these reverse lights out, even though they were expensive as hell. They certainly didn’t come close to being worth it. Hopefully I can at least save someone else from dropping that kind of money on them.

The products do seem to be very well made. Unfortunately not a justifiable expense though, imo.

Honestly I got lost in all of the different options people recommended and just ended up getting the TRD performance pads from the dealership.

I bought my truck used and found out that my rotors were already bad while rotating my tires during my first oil change :censored:. I rode them for as long as I could until this last hurricane hit about 2 weeks ago and I had to pump my brakes to stop on the wet roads lol.

I have a fumoto valve on the truck oil pan, then max a maxis filter drain tool, both from Amazon. The fumoto drain stays on the oil pan, it replaced the bolt.

for the filter drain tool, how does it work? Is this what you got: https://www.amazon.com/Motivx-Tools...child=1&keywords=mx2341&qid=1601313987&sr=8-4

I just used my last "free" oil change from toyota. So I want to order the stuff I need to start doing them. I believe I found the right fumoto... just need to know how you're doing the oil filter. It says it wont work with the stock screw off filter or something. Is there something else I need?

I had this on my 2006 and the time it would take that small stream of oil to drain out would drive me mad.
