I'm looking for an oem style running board but don't want to spend that much money since I won't have the truck that long. I just need something so the seat doesn't get crushed when getting in and out.

I had another style made by the same company and the finish started corroding under the black paint after 1 winter. I returned them for a full refund. I was gong to order the style you linked however and maybe spray some wd-40 where the rubber meets the metal and hope for the best

Not sure where you reside however there are many members selling their OME running boards for a very good price...

I did see that. Unfortunately, none of them seem to want to ship the running boards.

I just put those on two weeks ago they work fairly well for the price. I did add a little locktite on the fasteners just to make sure nothing rattled loose. They feel sturdy enough getting into the front and back seats and the 6" step is plenty of room. The far backend of the step isn't well supported to use as a step to reach into the bed, there's some noticeable springiness there. The only question I have about them is that it's just anodized aluminum no extra grip texture at all, if they get slippery with mud/water I may add some spray on bed liner or grip tape. Some type of step and the driver side grab handle is a must for for my wife getting in, even at stock height.

I have a tonneau cover so that part is no problem but the grab handle is pretty much required with running boards. At least the boards will prevent the side of the seat from being crushed.

Hell I have OEM ones off a DC and would ship them possibly, would need to probably put two ski boxes together at my ski shop but can possibly be done if interested.

If you're not planning to have it that long why worry about wearing out the seats? I have a 2015 with 115k on it, my seats aren't showing much if any sign of wear.
