    Is there an option for the gears to be REM polished? And if so, what is the cost? With many of us not in the immediate area, this option is something that could intrigue many of us.

    Shops have noticed nitro 5.29s make a lot of noise compared to revolutions. 4.88’s haven’t had that much of a problem but definitely 5.29’s

    I’m interested in some sources on this topic.
    And what about actual performance? I’m less inclined to care about noise than I am about how well the gears actually work and handle the abuse we’re gonna put them through.

    Who’s running Revos and for how long? What kind of wheeling do they do? That kinda stuff.

    Poly Performance sells Revolution. They may have some deeper info. I was talking to someone on to one of their reps on the KOH livestream last year and they recommended them. I was asking them if they had access to the Eaton locker and gears snuck into the conversation.

    I believe Revolution is made in S. Korea, so I'm assuming that they selected a foundry with capabilities and quality control not found in China.

    i have ran revolution gears for years, in all of my vehicles. I have 4.88s in my Tacoma and have never had a problem, I also have 5.13s in my fully built Jeep Wrangler with 1 ton axles that gets the crap beat out of it.

    No sorry it’s 75 for one pinion and one ring set. $150 for front and rear. They are polished in Chicago and shipped to privateer Motorsports.

    Look up the break in schedule for Revo (any aftermarket for that matter) gears and you'll see the issue. He can't just get in his truck and drive it home. With the REM polish he can but,IMO, it's only necessary for the rears 'cause there's no load on the front diff.
