Gloss Black vs Satin Black wheels

Does anyone have either of these and wouldn't mind sending some pics. Im looking at getting some new wheels and am stuck between the two finishes as I have an attitude black tundra. Also how hard is it to keep either clean? Thanks

 

Do you mean in general or do you have specific wheels in mind?

 

im looking at the vision rocker but any wheels with those finishes I wanted to see just for reference

The truck isn't black, but these are satin black Raceline Gauge 950B. I think gloss would be a bit much.

 

I had the stock trd OR wheels and they are shiny black with chrome finish as you see around. I recently installed the Pro wheels which are matte. The or wheels would get mild surface abrasions but cleaned up easy as do the pro wheels. They are too new to have any scratches yet. All wheels I have ever had I wax or use a wheel protectant. Keeps gunk from building up and makes them shine, and are easier to clean.

 

I was thinking they'd be a bit much too I just wanted to see how close/if they'd match well with the gloss of the truck but im liking how the satin looks now

I had my stock SR5 TRD off road wheels refinished in gloss black..





Very happy with the gloss look..

Sure man .. thanks ... got a Fabtech 6” with 2.5 DirtLogic coilovers, CB +3, Icon Billet UCA, wheels are Fuel crush 22x12 -45, with Fury 33’s 14.5

Satin black plastidip on my TRD OR wheels. I like it more than gloss personally.

I did those same wheels and tires on my '18. Powdercoated. Great combo.

 

Matte powder coat. With Pro caps so much easier to keep clean than gloss

 

Does anybody with the 2019 trd pro wheels bbs forge in satin black experience fading compared to the matte black version on the newer trd pro wheels?

 

If its BLACK its impossible to KEEP clean!!
