I would agree! If you get it on a group buy its not as painful, but worth every penny in my book. Works great and tons of compliments and questions asking about it.

RCI sliders on! Way easier to install than I thought. Except for that left rear bolt... Apparently newer models have a welded nut in the hole where the slider bolt is supposed to go. Will need to remove the gas tank to do that eventually.

Have you faced any issues from the TSS sensor being so close tot he top of the Aries Bull Bar? I really like the look and was planning on installing the same but am unsure due to sensor placement relative to the bar. Looks great btw!!

    Thanks!

All from Amazon. Got the air compressor, digital tire pressure gauge and an extra hose (so I could reach trailer tires). All was about $450.

Took rear bumper apart to get a good plastidip on the chrome ends.

Is the front easier or harder to get at the chrome?

If you already took off the bumper and end caps... If I may, I would like to make the suggestion of full on commitment of doing the powder coat route... It is by far the most durable end result.

x2 for sure. The whole point of plastidip is the ease and reversibility. If the budget allows, I'd absolutely go for powder coating.

After about 600 miles I decided to put the resonator on the BAMuffler 10”. The area I live in is mostly 45 to 55 mph and the interstate is 70-75. It was a little difficult to have a conversation without the drone drowning you out and the wife wasn’t too thrilled. To be honest, it was annoying at times. Given I had a half charged drill and a harbor freight holesaw, this was by far more difficult than installing the pipe. In the end got it done. Unfortunately now, after about a 10 minute drive, I may have some regret. Was hoping to tame it but this thing almost feels neutered. Mashing the pedal still lets you know it’s there but the sound in cab is almost back to stock with normal driving. With the windows down it can be heard much better. I’m secretly hoping bigger/heavier tires will draw back out the sound a bit more. :D

Thank you for sharing this info! I've been contemplating the resonator on my truck, but now it's a no go. Do you frequently tow? If not, you could always swap it out for an 8" system to get some of the life back.

This is exactly what I was thinking to swap it out. I’m going to let it sit for a few hundred miles before I decide next steps. I don’t tow, but it is in the short term forecast to start hauling a small TT.

Just trying it out to see how I like it. I would most likely just buy the black plastic pieces if I wanted something more permanent.

I'd definitely pull a TT similar to what you are eyeing before making a move. You can get a blocking plate for the resonator hole, though. Then you could just put it on when you tow. Drowning out the wife once in a while can't be all bad, right?
