Hello all, i'm semi new here, and yes already did searches and hours of reading which ahs been a huge help, lol , im looking for reassurance i guess on my plan

i have a 2020 TRD Sport Crewmax ,and i decided to go with a mild lift as i jacked up the truck and found the right height i like. I bought the Bilstein 5100 adjustable for the front and plan on the 2.28 inch lift setting , so this all will work with stock springs? i heard its a stiffer ride but to be honest i fealt stock was too mushy anyways
Now for the rear, im looking into 1 or 1.5 inch shackles , either toytec or camburg? Can you use the factory trd bilstein shocks for this shackle setup?? or need to go with the 5100 for rear as well?? probably go with 1.5 inch lift setting in rear as i want a little rake to the truck

wheel choice will be Fuel assaults 20x9 +20 offset with BF goods K02's 275/60 R20 (33 inch tire )

i know there are better options but trying to keep the pricing down yet still ride correctly and not rigged up. i dont plan on much 4 wheelin , just beach trips and mostly a pavement queen

Will the front 5100 set at 2.5" work with stock spring? yes

For the rear do you need shocks? No an 5100 in rear wouldn't give you notable additional travel to my knowledge. But it may dampen better. I'd probably opt for a shock that's made for 2" ish lift in the rear to get it done properly as it's built for the additional height..I am not 100 percent sure what model bilsteins that would be maybe 5160?. But there are other brands out there. Shackle lift is a good way to go an cost effective.

I believe the 5100's will suffice in the rear as well for that small amount of lift. I am not an expert by any means, but when I was researching the Bilstein's, the 5100's are a good all around shock for a small lift. Just checked the website before I posted this. They will accommodate up to a 3" lift.

so the stock rear 4600's will work with a 1 inch shackle lift?? and what is the major difference between the 4600 and 5100 ??

Main difference between 4600 and 5100 is the the 5100 is valved a little firmer an more geared toward a lifted vehicle vs 4600 is a quality OEM type shock geared more for ride quality (based on my research). You Can use your stock rear shocks with that small amount of lift. But for the cost of 5100 for the rear it would probably be worth it just so you have a matching set front and back, meant to work together. I've run a few trucks with a small lift in the rear on stock rear shocks without any issue.. Especially if your not off roading an need every ounce of travel. If your really pinching pennies you can run stock for now an upgrade later.. Its not necessary for the small amount of lift, its just generally recommend..

Thanks for the info, i'm up in the air still .I'm either gonna leave the rear alone and just set the front settings on the 5100's to 1.57 lift and be done or go to the 2.28 lift and raise the back an inch which is the price of shackles , the shocks should be upgraded to 5100's all around either way..

Go with your first option. 5100's at 1.5 and keep the stock rears..4600 vs 5100 is a minimal difference. Use the extra money for a TRD rear sway bar instead.
