I'm in the process of removing the lift from my 2013. What is the easiest way that you guys have found to remove the shackles? Thanks.

you will want the weight of the truck off of the axle, but you still will want to support the axle. when i installed shackles, i had to put the frame of the truck on jack stands, support the diff with a floor jack, remove the rear tires, unbolt the rear shocks, then lower the floor jack until the rear suspension is at or near full droop. that will remove most of the pressure off of the shackles. then they can be popped right out.

Soak those bolts for 48 hours with some PB blaster or other penetration oil. My 2015 had seized bolts and had to be sawzalled out. Then the bushing in the leafs were stuck got one out with the ball joint press the other I pounded out with a punch. So good luck! It wasn’t fun

They have only been installed since late May. Its more of trying to get the right spot to release the tension on the bolts.
