Did an oil change on the wife's pathfinder and then on the truck. Also washed both this evening.

Is that an aftermarket bumper that works with the TRD skid plate?

I have cut some off the skid plate and have a few notches in it to fit around the bumper frame

And that's a wrap. All done for this weekend. Happy I went with dirt deeds 10". I do have to say removing that chrome tip was a bitch. Much better look with that black chrome tip and black tail pipe. IMG_20200920_101751.jpg

After reading this thread at work, got in my car and had this pop up after i installed the app on my phone. I rarely have used the Entune app but I did not notice any change in sound quality. The only change that I did notice was the addition of Alexa.

Wow, Toyota's website his horrible for this stuff. Turns out they dropped an update last November. They couldn't tell me?! Guess I'll try the USB update.

My stereo has been flawless the past 11 months. Not sure I want to mess with that...

Finally! Lifted her up. Bilstein 6112/5160 set at 1.9 with OME Dakar Leafs in the back. About .5” rake just how I like to support what goes in back. Also threw on some cooper ST Maxx 275/70/18 that my bro had sitting in his garage. Saved me a grand to put toward sliders and a Softopper and will get me through my fall trail trips until I go with 285/75 in the New Year. Damn that’s an aggressive loud tire!

Love how this suspension setup looks and rides! My new truck is just like a new truck all over again.

Pulled the end of a nail out of the side of my tread block that luckily hadn’t pierced the whole tread block of the tire. Was glad I didn’t have to plug it, it would have certainly leaked or blown in the future if it had punctured the plies completely.

Why does Toyota have to use a $2 radio in there trucks. It's not like it a cheap truck.

It’s far from $2 if you go to replace it. Trust me.

Toyota can do way better than what they put in a $50,000 truck! Give me a alpine or kenwood. To me they went cheap. My daughter has a pro with a jbl system. Poor sound for a $54,000 truck. Toyota can do WAY BETTER! It would not cost them much to give you better quality.

I think I have the Premium after looking at that. Not sure what to tell you if it's not taking the VIN. This may be a time that the dealer might actually know better than us :eek2:

Worked on my chrome delete...replaced the chrome 4x4 badge on the tailgate, added the oem Tundra inserts and installed black door handles.

Unfortunately, TMC engineering obsession for long term automotive durability overrides the chance of getting the latest tech. They also have shown no interest in regular over the air updates like other companies are doing to maintain it. But, 100% agree with your statement, complete joke compared to the stock unit in my wife’s Acura. Not to mention the navigation function is poor, screen size is from the early 2000’s, and backup camera resolution sucks in comparison.

I think they really missed the boat on this one. Could offer a real premium integrated unit (@ a realistic fair market price) for those that value it as a dealer installed option when purchased new like what they used to do for the Scion brand. Win-Win for all sides of the deal. We get what we want, dealer gets higher deal value & install, TMC gets some easy profit enhancement.

No Brainer.......... TMC market researcher are you paying attention?:boink:

It ain’t much, but it’s honest work. Seriously, this is way better than stacking crap under the back seat... and the front seat. Simple and hugely effective.
