    Just seems identical. Both plugs cut at the same location. This one is just more expensive

    Why is everyone stuck on this harness part? Have you guys even ran any lights on your truck? It's cut close to the connector so you have max amount of wire length left to re-wire into the connector. The reason for it is he had to pull it back through the firewall and you **can't** pull that plug through it. Seriously... this is a ridiculously easy install and not a big deal at all. GLWS!

    I'm chiming in as the purchaser of the other NSV bar that was sold with the cut connectors...
    As far as I know, these 6-pin connectors that are being cut are extremely difficult, if not impossible, to de-pin. That's why they are being cut off. And they are being cut off as close to the connector as possible so you have plenty of wire to work with to re-pin them with a better connector.
    They have to be disconnected / de-pinned / cut at least on one side to pull the 6 wires back through the firewall.

    It was really easy to re-pin mine. I bought these connectors from Amazon and only used 1, so I still have 2 left if the buyer of this bar wants it, I will mail one of my connectors to you.

    The install process is exactly the same as a brand-new NSV bar. You still have to connect those 6 wires to their plug after pulling them through the firewall. I just used a slightly better plug that is easier to pin / de-pin.
    The main 12-pin NSV connector / plug is not affected; those are easier to de-pin and take out. It's just the 6-wire connection that is going through the firewall.

    I can post some more pics of my install if it helps anyone in their decision on whether to buy a used one.

    The guy said it works when he took off the truck after the truck was totalled, I can send the email exchange between me and him. He confirmed it was working even after the crash.
